摘要： A memory controller transmits and receives data to and from a memory. The memory controller includes a delay control section deciding a set value indicative of a determined delay amount in response to a result of a comparison between a test data transmitted to the memory and test data received from the memory, and transmitting the decided set value to the memory, a taking-in section receiving the set value stored in the memory, and a delay adjustment section receiving data from the memory, and arranging a delay amount of the received data in response to the set value received by the taking-in section.

摘要： An adsorbent for ink jet use arranged in a position to be in contact with ink, having the higher capability of adsorption with respect to hydrophobic substance contained in ink than colorant therein. Then, an ink retaining container comprises an ink retaining portion for retaining ink to be supplied to an ink jet head, an ink supply opening which becomes the ink supply portion from the ink retaining portion to the head, an atmospheric communication opening for communicating the ink retaining portion with the air outside. This ink retaining container is provided with the above-mentioned adsorption member arranged in a position to be in contact with ink in it. With the adsorbent and the ink retaining container thus arranged, it is made possible to perform ink jet recording with excellent print characteristics by effectively removing the hydrophobic substance eluted form the ink absorbent in the ink retaining container.

摘要： This invention relates to a highly precise and efficient color filter producing apparatus, which is provided with at least a set of drawing heads for respectively generating ink jets of red, green and blue colors, movement means for moving, with a substrate on which a color filter is to be formed by drawing with said ink jets, in a plane having a predetermined distance from the drawing heads, displacement detection means for detecting relative displacement between the substrate and the drawing heads in directions of six freedoms, means for detecting the reaching position on the substrate of the ink jet discharged from the drawing head, and alignment means for effecting alignment between the substrate and the drawing heads in directions of six freedoms, based on the results of detection of the reaching position and of the relative displacement between the substrate and the drawing head in directions of six freedoms.

摘要： A deviation of a clock rate of the timepiece clock signal is determined relative to a reference clock rate of a reference clock signal (CR) which is either issued while the mobile unit is switched on or is contained in a received signal. The reference clock rate is higher than the clock rate of the timepiece clock signal. A count number (N) is calculated based on the deviation of the clock rate of the timepiece clock signal. The clock signal is generated such that the clock pulses the clock signal are successively issued each time the clock pulses of the timepiece clock signal counted up to the count number.

The ceiling plate is pressed against the substrate by a pressing member, i.e., a spring. To improve the ejection performance of the ink jet head, the contact portion of the ceiling plate pressed by the pressing member is divided into a plurality of portions.
