Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for jointly encoding allocation information of one or more wireless communication stations in a common portion of a physical layer header are disclosed. In some examples, a wireless device may: generate allocation information associated with one or more wireless communication stations; encode the allocation information into the common portion of the physical layer header; and transmit the physical layer header to the one or more wireless communication stations.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods to provide an indication of frequency resource unit (RU) allocation from a wireless access point (AP) to one or more station devices (STA) are disclosed. The AP may be configured to generate a protocol data unit including a high efficiency wireless (HEW) preamble that indicates the RU allocation corresponding to each of the STA. The indication of the RU allocation for each of the STA, as disclosed herein, may be encoded in fewer bits than providing a bitmap of the RU allocation for each of the STA. A predetermined RU pattern may be used to map RU (e.g., 26 tone units, 52 tone units, etc.) to a RU allocation index. This RU allocation pattern may be efficiently communicated to each of the STAs in the HEW preamble of the protocol data unit.

For example, an apparatus may be configured to cause a licensed 6 GHz wireless communication device, which is licensed by a regulatory authority to communicate over a wireless communication channel in the 6 GHz wireless frequency band, to detect in a transmission over the wireless communication channel in the 6 GHz wireless frequency band an identifier of an unlicensed 6 GHz wireless communication station (STA), which is not licensed by the regulatory authority to communicate over the 6 GHz wireless frequency band; and to send a report comprising the identifier of the unlicensed 6 GHz STA.

Abstract: The disclosure provides some embodiments for securing long training field (LTF) sequence. A responding station (RSTA) configures a location management report (LMR) frame. The LMR frame is configured to include an LMR in respect of a previous measurement, and data to be used to generate a null data packet (NDP) for a current measurement that is to be performed following the previous measurement. The RSTA further encrypts the LMR frame using protected management frames (PMF) scheme, and transmits the encrypted LMR frame to an initiating station (ISTA) for generating an LTF sequence for the current measurement. In response to receiving an NDP announcement (NDPA) and an NDP for the current measurement from the ISTA, the RSTA generates an NDP for the current measurement based on the NDPA and the data using CCMP, and transmits the NDP to the ISTA.

Abstract: A device is disclosed that may identify a frame received from an access point. The device may cause to buffer the payload field. The device may determine that a first payload, in a first payload field, corresponds to a multiband link aggregation (MBLA) Ethertype based at least in part on a logical link layer controller (LLC) field and a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) Ethertype MBLA field in the first payload, wherein the first payload is within the payload field. The device may cause to remove a LLC MBLA header field from the first payload field. The device may cause to buffer a packet in a reordering queue, wherein the packet is in a second payload field that is in the first payload field. The device may order the packet among a plurality of packets in the reordering queue.

Abstract: Embodiments for long training field (LTF) sequences or other types of sequences in uplink multi-user multiple-input multiple-output communications are provided. The LTF sequences can permit channel estimation, including determination of carrier frequency offsets. In some embodiments, an LTF sequence can be formatted and/or conveyed without reliance on pilot tones. In other embodiments, the LTF sequence can rely on pilot tones, where a sequence associated with the pilot tones can include elements that are orthogonal among transmitter station devices that communicate according to MU-MIMO.
