Abstract: A display device is disclosed, which includes: a first substrate; a common electrode disposed on the first substrate; a metal line electrically connecting to the common electrode and extending along a first direction, wherein the metal line comprises a first region, and the first region at least partially overlaps the common electrode; and a light shielding region, wherein a part of the light shielding region extends along the first direction and at least covers the metal line, wherein the first region has a first maximum width along a second direction vertical to the first direction, the metal line has a metal edge closest to a shielding edge of the light shielding region, the shielding edge extends along the first direction, and along the second direction, a minimum distance between the shielding edge and the metal edge is between 0 μm and the first maximum width.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a liquid crystal layer between first and second base plates. The first and second scan lines along a first direction are disposed adjacently above the first base plate. A first region defined by the first and second data/scan lines includes the first and second sub-pixel regions. The first sub-pixel region includes a first TFT (connected to the first scan line and the first data line) and a first electrode electrically connected to the first TFT. A first common electrode disposed above the first base plate includes the first and second portions connected to each other. The first portion corresponds to the first sub-pixel region and is adjacent to the first data line, and the second portion corresponds to the second sub-pixel region and is adjacent to the first data line, wherein a width of the first portion in the first direction is greater than a width of the second portion in the first direction.

Abstract: In a display panel, a light shielding layer includes first and second openings adjacent to a first edge of a first substrate. First and second color blocks adjacent to each other are disposed on the light shielding layer along a first direction. The first color block is injected into the first opening and overlaps partial of the light shielding layer. The second color block is injected into the second opening and overlaps partial of the light shielding layer. The first color block has a first overlap portion adjacent to the first edge on the light shielding layer, the second color block has a second overlap portion adjacent to the first edge on the light shielding layer, and the area of the first overlap portion and the area of the second overlap portion are different. A display medium layer is sandwiched between the first substrate and a second substrate.

Abstract: A thin film transistor substrate is disclosed, which comprises: a substrate; and plural thin film transistor (TFT) units, an insulating layer, a pixel electrode and an alignment layer sequentially disposed thereon. The TFT units comprise a gate insulating layer, an active layer and source and drain electrodes; the insulating layer has contact vias to expose the drain electrodes of the TFT units; and the pixel electrode is disposed on the insulating layer and extents to the contact vias to electrically connect with the drain electrodes. Herein, a side wall of at least one of the contact vias has a first inclined portion at a first direction and a second inclined portion at a second direction, the first direction is different from the second direction, and an inclination of the pixel electrode on the first inclined portion is different from that on the second inclined portion.
