    Abstract: A display device is disclosed, which includes: a substrate; a scan line having an extension direction, disposed on the substrate and including a gate electrode; a semiconductor layer disposed on the gate electrode; source and drain electrodes disposed on the semiconductor layer; an insulating layer including a via hole and disposed on the drain electrode; a first transparent conductive layer disposed on the insulating layer, wherein a part of the first transparent conductive layer electrically connects to the drain electrode through the via hole; and a second transparent conductive layer disposed between the substrate and the first transparent conductive layer and not overlapping the via hole. Herein, the second transparent conductive layer has a first edge, the drain has a second edge, a minimum distance between the first edge and the second edge along a direction substantially perpendicular to the extension direction ranges from 0 μm to 4 μm.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a liquid crystal layer between first and second base plates. The first and second scan lines along a first direction are disposed adjacently above the first base plate. A first region defined by the first and second data/scan lines includes the first and second sub-pixel regions. The first sub-pixel region includes a first TFT (connected to the first scan line and the first data line) and a first electrode electrically connected to the first TFT. A first common electrode disposed above the first base plate includes the first and second portions connected to each other. The first portion corresponds to the first sub-pixel region and is adjacent to the first data line, and the second portion corresponds to the second sub-pixel region and is adjacent to the first data line, wherein a width of the first portion in the first direction is greater than a width of the second portion in the first direction.

    Abstract: In a display panel, a light shielding layer includes first and second openings adjacent to a first edge of a first substrate. First and second color blocks adjacent to each other are disposed on the light shielding layer along a first direction. The first color block is injected into the first opening and overlaps partial of the light shielding layer. The second color block is injected into the second opening and overlaps partial of the light shielding layer. The first color block has a first overlap portion adjacent to the first edge on the light shielding layer, the second color block has a second overlap portion adjacent to the first edge on the light shielding layer, and the area of the first overlap portion and the area of the second overlap portion are different. A display medium layer is sandwiched between the first substrate and a second substrate.

    Abstract: A display device is provided. The display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid-crystal layer, a first electrode, and an opposite electrode. The liquid-crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first electrode is disposed on the first substrate. The opposite electrode is disposed on the side of the second substrate that faces the first substrate. The first electrode includes a first main portion and a plurality of first extending portions. The first extending portions are connected to the first main portion, at least one of the first extending portions includes a first side, a second side, and a curved structure. The curved structure connects the first side to the second side, and the curved structure has a first curvature radius greater than zero.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate; a display medium layer disposed on the substrate; and a polarizer having a first film, a second film and a third film sequentially laminated on the display medium layer. The second film connects to the first film. The third film connects to the second film. A first bottom surface of the first film has a first edge. A second bottom surface of the second film has a second edge. A third bottom surface of the third film has a third edge. A first minimum distance exists between projections of the first edge and the second edge on the substrate in a first direction perpendicular to a normal direction of the substrate, and a second minimum distance exists between the second edge and the third edge on the substrate in the first direction. The first minimum distance is different from the second minimum distance.
