    摘要: Provided is a rotation angle detecting device with high detection accuracy, which can be structured with a small number of teeth even if a shaft angle multiplier increases, thus enhancing winding workability and becoming suitable for mass production. The rotation angle detecting device includes: a stator formed of an iron core with teeth, the stator including: an exciting winding of one phase or more; and output windings of two phases or more; and a rotor with a salient pole, in which numbers of turns of the output windings of the two phases each have a value obtained by a function containing a sum or a difference between a sine wave of an order equal to an absolute value of a sum of a number of the salient poles and a number of the pole pairs, and a sine wave of an order equal to an integer that is different from an absolute value of the number of the pole pairs of the exciting winding and different from an absolute value of a difference obtained by subtracting the number of the salient poles from the number of the pole pairs.

A plurality of winding slackening pins are disposed at predetermined positions between a plurality of teeth and a plurality of terminal pins so as to project out of the a first surface side of the insulator. A first and second conductor wire are wound so as to dispose a first and second lead wire portion of each conductor wire wound on the teeth under tension between the teeth and the terminal pin by hooking each wire lead portion onto a winding hooking pin and a winding slackening pin. The winding slackening pins are removed so that the first and second lead wire portions have a predetermined amount of slack.

A bracket is disposed at an opening of a cylindrical bottomed frame. A stator with a stator winding is fixed to the frame around a rotor. Stator-side terminals each having a connection portion extending toward the bracket are disposed between the stator and the bracket, and are connected with the stator winding. A connector base includes connection terminals connected with tip ends of the connection portions, a base portion with the connection terminals disposed on a surface thereof, and nuts mounted on the base portion. Leads have, at their one end, lead-side terminals in contact with the connection terminals. Screws are threaded on the nuts, respectively, for coupling the connection terminals and the lead-side terminals.

With this arrangement, there can be obtained a stator for a starter motor the cost of which can be reduced.
