    摘要: A sample pretreatment system is equipped with a label sticking apparatus for sticking labels on containers. In this system, a manipulator 72 grasps and holds a container before label sticking from the pipetting apparatus to convey it to a receiving position on the line L—L along with the raising/lowering path of a container holding device 82. The container holding device 82 is raised by the raising/lowering mechanism 86 to be positioned at a receiving position in a complexly opened state. After receiving the container, the container holding device 82 is lowered, and then the container holding device 82 carries out the closing operation according to the lowering motion, thereby enabling to hold the container reliably irrespective of the diameter of the container. At the label sticking position which is set at a lower position, a label is stuck to the container. Then, the container holding device 82 is raised, and the transfer mechanism 83 rotates the labeled container which has been raised to the buffer position on the line B—B for a temporally evacuation. This sample pretreatment system makes it possible to handle containers of various diameters and carry out efficient container conveyance and label sticking with a simple structure.

    摘要: A terminal support has a first main body. Wall plates are arrayed on the first main body in a first direction so as to define a first space between each of adjacent ones of the wall plates. The first space is adapted to receive a terminal having a blade portion and a sheathed electric wire. The blade portion extends in the first direction, and no clearance is formed between both ends in the first direction of the terminal and the adjacent ones of the wall plates. Chamfered portions are formed on both sides in the first direction of a tip end of each of the wall plates. A punch has a second main body. Press members are arrayed on the second main body in the first direction so as to define a second space between each of adjacent one of the press members. Each of the press members is inserted into the first space to press the sheathed electric wire against the blade portion of the terminal while each of the wall plates is inserted into the second space, when the terminal support and the punch are approached in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.

    摘要: A first surface of an optical component has a lens function of converging the transmission light from a light source. A second surface reflects the transmission light, converged by the lens function of the first surface, towards an end face of an optical transmission medium as the destination of transmission. The light reflected by the second surface is radaited from a coupling surface. Since the light beam from the light source is directed towards the optical transmission medium by exploiting the total reflection of light, a high-reflection multi-layer film or a polarization beam splitter film, required in a conventional apparatus employing a polarization beam splitter, is unneeded, with the result that the film forming cost or the cost in bonding two prisms used for fabricating the polarization beam splitter may be dispensed with. In this manner, the production cost or size of the apparatus can be reduced without lowering the transmission/reception performance.

The terminal cover 10 has a cover body 11, a tab-protecting member 12, and a pair of releasing projections 14. The cover body 11 is mounted by being nipped between a pair of guide projections 42c. The tab-protecting member 12 has a protecting projection 18 which situates the tab 37 between a bottom wall 42a of the plate body 42 and the protecting projection 18. The releasing projection 14 has an inclined surface 20, which enlarges a space between a pair of the guide projections 42c when the housing 40, having the terminal cover 10 thereon, is mounted in the holder 51.
