A method for providing a confidence score for a seller in an online marketplace includes: storing account profiles, each including one or more unique account identifiers for one or more online marketplaces; storing activity data entries, each including data for transactional activity in an online marketplace including a marketplace identifier, two or more transacting account identifiers, and activity data; receiving a confidence request that includes a specific account identifier and marketplace identifier; identifying a specific account profile that includes the specific account identifier; identifying a set of activity data entries where a transacting account identifier matches a unique account identifier in the specific account profile; determining a confidence score for the specific account profile based on the activity data included in the identified set of activity data entries; and transmitting the confidence score in response to the received confidence request.

A computer-implemented method for facilitating a payment transaction wherein a cardholder purchases an item from a merchant on behalf of a buyer is provided. The method includes receiving proposal data from a buyer computing device including at least one of an identification of an item proposed for purchase, a particular merchant, and a merchant purchase price. The method includes receiving a selection message from the buyer computing device indicating a selected cardholder chosen to purchase the item on behalf of a buyer using a merchant payment card associated with the particular merchant. The method includes reserving at least the merchant purchase price and a cardholder processing fee associated with the merchant payment card in a buyer account. The method includes transferring funds from the buyer account to a selected cardholder account, the funds determined at least in part by the merchant purchase price and the cardholder processing fee.

Systems and methods are provided for binding an IoT device with an identity of a user, whereby action by the IoT device may be attributed to the user. One exemplary method includes receiving identifying data for a user, transmitting an OTP to the user, and receiving an OTP from the user. When the received OTP matches the transmitted OTP, the method includes compiling an identity for the user based on the identifying data, receiving an IoT device ID associated with an IoT device, and appending the IoT device ID to the identity of the user. The method further includes seeking authentication of the user at a communication device of the user, in response to a request indicator from the IoT device, and providing to the IoT device, in response, a confirmation of authentication of the user and/or a portion of the identifying data from the stored identity of the user.

The user is authenticated based on the account identifier and identity verification information is transmitted to the merchant.

A scoring engine computing device for generating personalized lending scores is provided. The scoring engine computing device receives a request including a cardholder identifier associated with a candidate cardholder, determines demographic data associated with the candidate cardholder, and retrieves transaction data for a plurality of cardholders including the candidate cardholder and a set of peer cardholders. Each cardholder of the set of peer cardholders is associated with the determined demographic data of the candidate cardholder, and the transaction data is associated with transactions for a plurality of spending categories. The scoring engine computing device further normalizes the transaction data associated with the candidate cardholder by category, generates a personalized lending score associated with the candidate cardholder that indicates a spending trend of the candidate cardholder, and transmits the personalized lending score to a requestor computing device.

A system and method for facilitating use of a digital electronic wallet by a cardholder for cashless transactions. The method comprises receiving a selection by a first cardholder to pair a first digital wallet held by a first wallet holder with a first merchant, the first digital wallet having therein an electronic representation of at least one payment device usable to fund a cashless transaction, and verifying the cardholder's identity. Thereafter, facilitating a communication between the first cardholder and the first wallet holder to record consent by the first cardholder to share wallet information with the first merchant. The present disclosure further comprises receiving from the first wallet holder authorization to generate a wallet token usable for acquiring wallet information on behalf of the first merchant, using the first digital wallet as selected by the first cardholder, and preparing a merchant token corresponding to the wallet token. The merchant token is provided to the first merchant, for presentation to access wallet information, including payment card information on a cashless transaction.

A computer system for authenticating user access to at least one computer application of a plurality of computer applications is provided. The computer system includes a memory device and a processor. The computer system is programmed to identify a security level from a plurality of security levels for each computer application within the plurality of computer applications. The plurality of security levels include at least a first-tier security level and a second-tier security level. The second-tier security level requires additional authentication information as compared to the first-tier security level. The computer system is also programmed to create a user account for a user within the memory device with the first-tier security level, and to determine that the user account requires the second-tier security level, and prompt the user to enter the additional authentication information. The computer system is also programmed to promote the user account to the second-tier security level.

Methods and systems for providing business services solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) owned by merchants in developed markets and in developing markets. In some embodiments, a merchant enrolls with a merchant issuer financial institution (FI) and then receives an SME financial account, a suite of shared SME business service applications, and access to a payment card acceptance service for use in setting up and scaling their business. In an implementation, the process includes receiving a request for an SME business platform, validating merchant identification data, providing an SME financial account to the merchant, transmitting an SME business platform acceptance message, and transmitting an SME business platform to the merchant device. The SME business platform includes a payment card account acceptance application and at least one business services application configured for running on the merchant device.
