Abstract:
One method involves payment of money to a recipient traveling to one or more foreign countries by entering into a remote computer money transfer information from a sender. The money transfer information comprises recipient identification information, at least one country where the money is to be received, and a payment amount in an originating currency. The money transfer information is transmitted to a host computer system. When ready to receive payment in the designated country, recipient identification information along with a request to withdraw a portion of a possible payment amount is entered into a payout computer. The recipient identification information and the request to withdraw is transmitted to a host computer system, and the requested withdrawal is provided to the recipient in the local currency.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to organic light emitting devices (OLEDs), and more specifically to OLEDS that emit light using a combination of fluorescent emitters and phosphorescent emitters for the efficient utilization of all of the electrically generated excitons.

Abstract:
Systems and methods of applying an ozone-depleting catalytic coating to an air stream component for producing a durable surface with optimal ozone depletion characteristics are provided. An air stream component having a surface with favorable adhesive properties or coatings is exposed to a concentration of ozone-depleting catalytic particles, wherein the receptive surface of the coated substrate binds the ozone-depleting catalytic coating.
Abstract:
A system for providing in-flight entertainment with data redundancy is described. In an embodiment of the invention, the system includes a first server and a second server disposed within an aircraft, each having stored thereon digital content. The system also includes a network switch that is communicatively linked to both the first and the second servers, and video display units, each being located proximate to a passenger seat within the aircraft, communicatively linked to the network switch, and having a user interface that permits a passenger to request digital content. Both the first and second servers are configured to transmit their respective stored digital content to the video display units via the network switch. Each of the plurality of video display units decodes and displays the video content upon receiving it.
Abstract:
An organic photosensitive optoelectronic device, having an anode, a cathode, and an organic blocking layer between the anode and the cathode is described, wherein the blocking layer comprises a phenanthroline derivative, and at least partially blocks at least one of excitons, electrons, and holes.
Abstract:
A novel mountain snowmobile comprises a frame, an engine disposed on the frame, at least one ski disposed on the frame, a seat disposed on the frame, a steering device disposed on the frame forward of the seat that is operatively connected to the at least one ski for steering the snowmobile, and a novel long length drive track disposed below the frame and connected operatively to the engine for propulsion of the snowmobile. The novel drive track comprises an endless body having a ground-engaging outer surface with a central portion flanked by first and second lateral portions, a plurality of longitudinally spaced reinforcing rods disposed in the body along a transverse direction of the body. The rods define a plurality of pitches, and a plurality of profiles project from the outer surface of the body along the plurality of pitches. A plurality of non-profile regions is defined along the plurality of pitches, and the profiles and profile-free regions define a pattern for each pitch. The pitch pattern for the novel track has a six pitch tread pattern which repeats every successive sixsomes of pitches. A height profile that varies between the first and second lateral portions is defined by the profiles. Such height profile has each profile with a height of not less than about 1¼ inches. The long length track has a length greater than about 141 inches.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to efficient organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) doped with multiple light-emitting dopants, at least one dopant comprising a phosphorescent emitter, in a thin film emissive layer or layers. The present invention is directed to an efficient phosphorescent organic light emitting device utilizing a plurality of emissive dopants in an emissive region, wherein at least one of the dopants is a phosphorescent material. Thus, the present invention provides an organic light emitting device comprising an emissive region, wherein the emissive region comprises a host material, and a plurality of emissive dopants, wherein the emissive region is comprised of a plurality of bands and each emissive dopant is doped into a separate band within the emissive region, and wherein at least one of the emissive dopants emits light by phosphorescence.
Abstract:
A system for delivering multimedia content to airline passengers is provided. According to various implementations, the system has a video display unit disposed proximate to a seat to which the aircraft passenger is assigned. The video display unit itself has a display screen and a video decoder. A user input device is communicatively linked to the video display unit. When the aircraft passenger manipulates the user input device, signals representing an on-demand video are transmitted to the video display unit, and received by the video decoder. The video decoder then decodes the signals, thereby permitting the on-demand video to be displayed on the display screen.
