Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, based at least in part on the UE being a reduced-capability UE, control information on a reduced capability control resource set (CORESET) at least partially in a reduced capability region of a CORESET region, wherein the reduced capability CORESET is associated with a reduced configuration relative to a CORESET for a non-reduced-capability UE; and communicate in accordance with the control information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Data may be received during transmission time intervals (TTIs) that have a short duration relative to other TTIs. The short-duration TTIs may occur within or overlap a longer duration TTI, such as a subframe. Feedback responsive to the data may be generated and assigned for transmission during an uplink TTI according to a feedback timing or delay, which may be selected to reduce latency or balance the payload size of uplink messages sent during the assigned uplink TTI. Data and feedback assignments in short-duration TTIs may be configured based on a time division duplexing (TDD) configuration for some TTIs (e.g., subframes). TTIs that are a Long Term Evolution (LTE) subframe, an LTE slot, and a duration of two LTE symbol periods may be supported. Portions of special TTIs may be used for transmissions according to shorter-duration TTIs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for managing transmissions using multiple component carriers (CCs) in which transmissions using one or more of the CCs may span less than a full transmission time of a slot or other transmission time interval. A UE may signal a capability to transmit such transmissions, and one or more capabilities related to carrier aggregation that may be used by a base station for scheduling of transmissions on different CCs. In the event that overlapping transmissions on two or more CCs exceed a maximum power threshold, various techniques for dropping at least a portion of one or more transmissions of one or more CCs are described.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for enabling sidelink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling in a wireless communication system. In aspects, a transmitting user equipment (UE) may be configured for sidelink communication with a receiving UE, and a sidelink DMRS transmission may be determined to be transmitted from the transmitting UE to the receiving UE. In aspects, determining whether to enable bundling of the sidelink DMRS transmission from the transmitting UE to the receiving UE or not (e.g., whether to enable or to forego enabling bundling of the sidelink DMRS transmission) may be determined in accordance with various aspects of the present disclosure.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a communication device may receive control signaling (e.g., a broadcasted control signal) from another communication device. The control signaling may indicate beam information for one or more beams of a set of beams. The one or more beams may correspond to the serving cell or one or more neighboring cells. The beam information may include one or more metrics associated with each of the one or more beams. As such, the communication device may determine that a metric associated with each of the one or more beams satisfies a threshold, select the beam, and communicate using the selected beam. In some other examples, the beam-specific information may include beam measurement offsets for one or more beams. In such examples, the communication device may select a beam based on the beam measurement offsets and perform communications using the selected beam.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, via first frequency ranges and first time periods, a plurality of sidelink control blocks that each indicate a sidelink positioning reference signal burst pattern for one or more sidelink UEs. The UE may receive, within a second frequency range and during a second time period, a plurality of multiplexed sidelink positioning reference signals from the one or more sidelink UEs in accordance with the sidelink positioning reference signal burst patterns. The UE may determine a position of the UE based at least in part on the receiving of the plurality of multiplexed sidelink positioning reference signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for using layer one (L1) or layer two (L2) signaling to indicate a primary cell (PCell) or primary secondary cell (PSCell) to a user equipment (UE). The use of L1 or L2 signaling to indicate a PCell or PSCell may be referred to as L1 or L2 mobility and may lower the latency at the UE associated with transitioning to communicating with the PCell or PSCell. A UE may receive radio resource control (RRC) signaling from a base station indicating a set of cells configured for L1 or L2 mobility and indicating a list of candidate cells for a PCell or PSCell. The UE may then receive L1/L2 signaling from the base station identifying the PCell or indicating activation of the PSCell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) of a group of UEs may communicate with other members of the group to provide data or other information via sidelinks. The UE may transmit a groupcast sidelink request to the base station. After receiving the sidelink request, the base station may send a sidelink grant (e.g., transmit or receive grant) in downlink control information (DCI) to the UEs in the sidelink groupcast communications group. The sidelink grant may include information for each hop such as which UEs are going to transmit or receive, the reception or transmission beams of the UEs, time and frequency resources, or the data to forward or relay. In some examples, a UE may relay information to other UEs in the sidelink groupcast communications group.
