摘要: The table saw disclosed herein includes a table, a saw assembly pivotally attached to the table, the saw assembly comprising an arbor movable relative to the table, a bevel shaft operatively connected to the saw assembly for pivoting the saw assembly, and a height shaft operatively connected to the saw assembly for moving the arbor relative to the table, wherein distance between the height shaft and the table is larger than distance between the bevel shaft and the table. Also disclosed is a saw includes a table having a first miter gauge slot, a base supporting the table, a saw assembly pivotably connected to at least one of the table and the base for carrying a rotatable cutting tool so that the tool protrudes through and above the table, at least part of the saw assembly being underneath the table, the saw assembly comprising a cradle, and a sector gear connected to the cradle, and a first bevel stop disposed underneath the first miter gauge slot, wherein the first bevel stop can contact the sector gear when the saw assembly is pivoted in one direction.

摘要: A power tool includes a tool body having an output member that drives an accessory. An end effector is coupled for rotation with the output member. A light source is disposed on the end effector. A primary coil assembly is configured on the tool body and mounted concentric to the output member. The primary coil assembly includes a primary coil that is electrically connected to a power source of the power tool. A secondary coil assembly is configured on the end effector and mounted concentric to the output member. The secondary coil assembly includes a secondary coil that is electrically connected to the light source. Current flowing through the primary coil creates a magnetic field that causes current to flow through the secondary winding and power the light source.

The cross-cut table may be adjusted to ensure movement parallel to a blade protruding from the main table. An improved miter gauge assembly is also disclosed. An improved fence assembly is further disclosed herein. In addition, a table saw having an improved panel and leg construction is disclosed herein.

摘要: A tool bit stop located on an inner surface of a clamping jaw of a drill chuck. The tool bit stop is located a distance from a jaw gripping surface of the clamping jaw. The tool bit stop is adapted to provide a surface to register an end of a tool bit in a consistent location relative to the jaw gripping surface. The tool bit stop is shaped to allow advancement and retraction of the clamping jaws without interference from the tool bit stop.

摘要: An improved portable wood planing machine for the surface planing of wooden planks or boards is provided. In an exemplary embodiment, the planing machine includes a carriage assembly locking mechanism for locking the carriage assembly relative to a plurality of vertical support columns to thereby vertically fix the carriage assembly. In one form, the carriage assembly locking mechanism includes a plurality of levers which cooperate to engage the support columns of the carriage assembly. The exemplary embodiment further includes a depth stop adjustment mechanism which allows the operator to accurately select a minimum workpiece depth from one or more predetermined depths and a material removal indicator assembly operable for enabling the user of the planing machine to accurately determine the amount of material to be removed during each pass of the workpiece.
