The camera includes a capture device for capturing digital images and an interface for storing the captured digital images on a removable digital storage media in a first directory, and for reading digital images from both the first directory and from a second directory on the removable digital storage media. A user interface is provided for selecting the first directory or the second directory. The camera also has a display for displaying information and image stored in the selected directory. The second directory can be used for placing an image order and/or reviewing confirmation provided by a service provider of an image order.

摘要： A method and apparatus for capturing an image. The apparatus includes a support platen for receiving a document having a front image bearing side and a back side co-extensive with the front side. An image capture element is disposed below the platen for capturing an image on the front image side. A reticle forming device is provided for providing a reticle on the platen for assisting in positioning of the document when a positioning cover is placed over the document. A second cover is also provided for placement over the positioning cover. The second cover is substantially opaque and is used for when the image on the front image side is illuminating for capture of the image.

摘要： A tamper resistant electronic flash unit comprising a pair of first and second flash circuit boards arranged parallel to one another in order to have respective inner sides that face towards each other and respective outer sides that face away from each other, an electrical component positioned on the outer side of the first flash circuit board, conductive connections connecting the electrical component to the first flash circuit board and having respective portions exposed on the inner side of the first flash circuit board, and a plurality of spacers holding the first and second flash circuit boards spaced from one another to maintain a narrow gap between the inner sides of the flash circuit boards that is narrow enough to discourage access to the portions of the conductive connections exposed on the inner side of the first flash circuit board, whereby it is difficult to reach the portions of the conductive connection in an attempt to short-circuit the electrical component. A second electrical component can be positioned on top of the electrical component positioned on the outer side of the first flash circuit board. The second electrical component is connected directly to the first flash circuit board to prevent removal of the electrical component positioned on the outer side of the first flash circuit board without having to disconnect the second electrical component from the first flash circuit board.

摘要： A method for image processing acquires a digital image as a collection of image pixel data and identifies the acquired digital image as a faded image. One or more statistical values is calculated to characterize the distribution of digital image values over a range for a first color channel. The range of values for each of the color channels is expanded. At least first and second non-overlapping sub-ranges of the expanded range of values are identified for each of the color channels, wherein a boundary between the sub-ranges is defined according to the calculated statistical value for the first color channel. The first sub-range is expanded and the second sub-range for each of the color channels compressed to form a color balanced image that is displayed.
