摘要: Provided is an apparatus and method for displaying a strength of power and an expected charge completion time during wireless charging. To this end, a first electronic device, upon receiving a power request message, converts stored or wirelessly supplied power into a wirelessly-transmittable form and transmits the converted power. A second electronic device, upon receiving a charging command, determines whether being located in a distance and a position which allow charging with the first electronic device, transmits the power request message to the first electronic device, receives the converted power from the first electronic device to measure the strength of the received power, and calculates an expected charge completion time by using the detected strength of power, if the second electronic device is located in the distance and position which allow charging.

摘要: Disclosed are a system and a method for controlling wireless network access information in using a removable external modem. These relates to a case where a removable external modem among devices for a wireless access server (e.g. WiMAX) is connected with a host customer electronics (CE) device so as to be used. Particularly, in a case where the removable external modem, which has no information for accessing a specific network, e.g. operator Lock, a roaming list, a credential, operator ID, etc., when it is introduced, receives network access information through initial access, registration, and provisioning step, and is connected to other device to be used, the modem can be directly connected to a network of an existing registered network communication provider without a separate supplementary registration or a provisioning step.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for determining mutual time difference between base station signals in an asynchronous code division multiplexing access (CDMA) system. The method comprises the steps of: measuring mutual time difference of signals transmitted between at least two base stations; determining all possible paths between said at least two base stations; and providing weights to the measured mutual time difference for said all possible paths. The apparatus comprises: a location measurement unit for measuring mutual time difference of signals transmitted between at least two base stations; a mobile user location center for receiving the mutual time difference of the signals measured by the location measurement unit, determining all possible paths between said at least two base stations, and providing weights to the measured mutual time difference for said all possible paths. The method and apparatus can determine a mutual time difference of signals transmitted from base stations even when the signals are blocked by a certain object and can improve the determination accuracy of the mutual time difference of base station signals.
