摘要： A method of connecting a flat cable having flat conductors arranged in parallel and covered with an insulating material to a connecting terminal, in which crimp pieces of the connecting terminal are pierced into a desired conductor of conductors of the flat cable, with a gap left between a substrate of the connecting terminal and the flat cable, and leading ends of the crimp pieces penetrating the flat cable are bent inwardly, while maintaining a contact position of the crimp pieces penetrating the conductor and the conductor unchanged. Also disclosed are an apparatus for embodying the connecting method and a method for determining a connecting state between the flat cable and the connecting terminal.

摘要： An image forming apparatus discriminates a color of an inputted color image for each pixel and generates a first color component and a second color component. The apparatus compares values of the first and the second color components, and selects and outputs the color component having a larger value. Meanwhile a color component which is not selected is diffused to neighboring pixels. When pixels neighboring a pixel of interest in a predetermined area are filled with one color component, the other color component is selected and outputted regardless of the values of the first and second color components.

An image of a full color original is read by a CCD, thereby forming signals of R, G and B. In an image processing unit, the R, G, and B signals are converted into red and black signals. The red and black signals are sent to a printer unit and an image is formed in red and black.

摘要： A helmet display for displaying information to a user thereof while the user is riding, for example, a motorcycle. A display mounted on a helmet includes a plurality of display elements horizontally aligned in a spaced relation along the curvature of the jaw of the helmet. A reflector reflects the images of the display elements into the eyes of a user wearing the helmet. The images of the display elements form as a whole information to the user. The reflector may be a reflective surface provided at a lower portion on the shield of the helmet. The reflector may be mounted on the upper portion of the jaw and the reflective surface thereof may have a curvature substantially the same as that of the jaw of the helmet.

A two-dimensional size can also be reduced by altering the gate height. The on-current is increased, and the leakage current is reduced in the device. The offset region is composed of a semiconductor material and is formed at the end of a drain region of the device.
