摘要: In a traction control device in which an initial control torque of an engine is determined in accordance with an acceleration of the vehicle, when an excessive slipping of driven wheels is detected, a time taken for proceeding of the excessive slipping of the driven wheels from a large slip state to a small slip state is counted by a timer. If such time is smaller than a reference time and a gear ratio of the vehicle is of a first gear shift to provide a low vehicle speed, it is decided that the vehicle is traveling on an upward sloping road, and a lower limit value for defining the initial control torque of the engine determined in an initial control torque calculating means is corrected into an increased value in an initial torque correcting means. This prevents the initial control torque of the engine from being excessively reduced at the start of a traction control. By this construction, it is possible to prevent an initial control torque from being excessively reduced due to a misjudgment of a friction coefficient of a surface of an upward or downward sloping road to insure an acceleratability of a vehicle.

摘要: Injection molding of a product and compressive decoration molding of a surface of the molded product are performed using individual cavity molds. A decorative film can be molded efficiently with a thermosetting coating material under suitable temperature control regardless of the shape of the molded product. An injection cavity mold and a decoration cavity mold are employed. The injection cavity mold is set at a hardening temperature of a thermoplastic resin. The decoration cavity mold is set at a thermosetting temperature of a coating material. A molded product is injection-molded in the cavity mold for injection molding and released from the mold. A decorative coating material composed of a liquid thermosetting composition is mounted at least on a part of the top of the injection-molded product. The molded product is located within the cavity mold for decoration molding. A thin decorative film is decoration-molded over the surface of the injection molded product by compression spreading the coating material within the cavity mold for decoration molding over the whole surface to be decorated. The coating material is composed of a liquid thermosetting composition that substantially contains no volatile component having a boiling point below the thermosetting temperature set on the cavity mold for decoration molding.

摘要: The present invention relates to a storage device and a servo recovery method for the storage device, which restores the head to a track when the head goes off from the track of a storage medium, and whereby it prevents the servo recovery process from being continuously called over a short period of time. The storage device comprises a storage medium, a head and a control circuit which performs the servo recovery process. The servo recovery process, having multiple recovery processes, is called up when off track is detected. The frequency that the recovery process is called up is detected, and one of the multiple recovery processes is executed according to the detected call-up frequency. A different recovery process is performed when the call-up frequency is high, therefore this recovery process makes it possible to prevent frequent occurrence of the off-track state.

摘要: A storage apparatus has a function of jumping to an arbitrary track on a recording medium in response to a track jump request when making access to the recording medium, where the recording medium is divided into a plurality of zones in a radial direction thereof and employing a ZCAV system. The storage apparatus includes a zone recognizing part recognizing a zone to which a present position on the recording medium belongs, and a jumping part jumping to a first zone to which the arbitrary track belongs or to a second zone which is adjacent to the first zone, based on the zone recognized by the zone recognizing part.
