摘要: A probe includes an optical system which irradiates a site of a biological tissue and receives light emitted from the site, and an imaging device. The imaging device is disposed ahead of the optical system closer to the end of the probe. The probe rotates the incident direction of the light and the imaging direction of the imaging device around a rotation axis directed to the longitudinal direction of the probe while fixing an angle between the incident direction and the imaging direction. The optical system receives the light from the site which always falls in the field of view of the imaging device, or brought with a time lag into the field of view of the imaging device as a result of rotation, the light being incident in the direction normal to, or inclined away from the rotation axis.

摘要: A probe (4) is provided with at least a light projecting optical fiber (9) and a light receiving optical fiber (10) and is configured so that excitation light guided by the light projecting optical fiber is applied to the portion of a living organism which is to be observed and then light emitted, due to the excitation light, from the portion to be observed is received by the light receiving optical fiber. The probe (4) is also provided with an illumination means used for the capture of an image by the image capturing means of an endoscope body. The illumination means is, for example, a light emitting diode which is provided to the front end of the probe, a light guiding optical fiber (11) which guides illumination light from an illumination light source (5c) to the front end of the probe, or a light emitting substance piece which is disposed at the front end of the probe and emits white fluorescent light by excitation.

摘要: An optical system has an optical functional surface including a common region used for conducting information recording and/or reproducing for both of a first optical information recording medium and a second optical information recording medium. The common region comprises a refractive surface of an imaginary basic aspherical surface and a optical path difference providing structure in which plural ring-shapes zones are separated around the center of an optical axis and neighboring ring-shaped zones are displaced to each other in a direction of an optical axis so as to cause an optical path difference obtained by multiplying a predetermined wavelength λs (λ1

摘要: An optical pickup apparatus for information recording and/or reproduction on different optical information recording media with compatibility among these media, the optical surface of a first objective lens and the optical surface of a second objective lens are formed only of a refractive surface. The second objective lens is used in common for the first light flux with a wavelength of λ1 and the second light flux with a wavelength of λ2, but in the case where the protective substrate t2 of the second optical information recording medium and the protective substrate t3 of the third optical information recording medium are the same, it is not necessary to take the difference in thickness of the protective substrate into consideration. Chromatic aberration based on the difference in wavelength between the first light flux and the second light flux can be corrected by displacing the second coupling lens.

摘要: A method of producing a lens that includes shifting a first die relative to a second die, and pressing an optical material shaped in a preliminary form between the first die and the second die so as to form a lens having a configuration corresponding to a hollow portion formed by the first die and the second die while shifting the first die relative to the second die. The produced lens includes an effective optical surface configured to converge a light flux. The effective optical surface includes a light entrance side, a light exit side, and an optical axis. The effective optical surface is a convex surface shaped such that when a maximum normal line angle is defined as an angle formed between the optical axis and a normal line at the outermost circumference of the effective optical surface, the maximum normal angle is 60° to 90°.
