摘要： A magnetic head in which a pair of magnetic core halves each having a winding slot for placing a coil are abutted and unified to each other by thin magnetic metal films interposed in-between, and in which a magnetic gap is formed between abutting surfaces of the magnetic core halves. A bend is formed in the winding slot for bending the thin magnetic metal film at an acute angle when seen in cross-section. The magnetic head has a structure for prohibiting peeling of the thin magnetic metal film.

摘要： A polyethylene for an insulation layer of a power cable, of which the dissipation factor never increases even in a high-temperature, high electric field, and a crosslinked polyethylene insulated power cable which uses this polyethylene so that the high-temperature dielectric breakdown voltage is large enough for high-capacitance transmission. This polyethylene is a low-density polyethylene which is synthesized by high-pressure radical polymerization of ethylene, and has properties including: a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 10 g/10 minutes; a density of 0.915 to 0.935 g/cm.sup.3 ; an absorbance of 0.03 to 1.0 for a ketone-type carbonyl group, having a peak in a position corresponding to a wave-number of 1,725.+-.4 cm.sup.-1 in an infrared absorption spectrum, an absorbance of 1.0 or less for an ester-type carbonyl group, having a peak in a position corresponding to a wave-number of 1,743.+-.4 cm.sup.-1 and absorbances of less than 0.03 for other carbonyl groups; and/or a content of 3% by weight or less for components eluted at a temperature not lower than an elution temperature T (.degree.C.) calculated as T=687.times.D-547, where D (g/cm.sup.3) is the density of the low-density polyethylene, in a CFC measurement.

摘要： A composite paint film coating formed on a steel sheet of an automotive vehicle body. The composite paint film coating is comprised of an electrodeposition paint film (I) coated on the steel sheet, and an intermediate paint film (II) coated on the first paint film. The electrodeposition paint film has a minimum melt viscosity not less than 0.2 during hardening. The electrodepositon paint film is formed of cathodic electrodeposition paint composition which includes a cationic thermosetting resin (1), and an already cross-linked particulate resin (2). The particlate resin is an addition-polymer formed between a fist compound (A) having at least two primary amino groups in a molecule, and a second compound (B) having at least two .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenic unsaturated groups. The particulate resin has an average particle size ranging from 0.01 to 1 .mu.m. The weight ratio ((2)/(1)) in solid content between the particulate resin (2) cationic thermosetting resin (1) is within a range from 0.03 to 0.15. The intermediate paint film (II) has hardening starting time ranging from 5 to 20 minutes.

摘要： A device for measuring torque in a shaft without contacting the latter. A torque transmitting shaft is formed with at least one detecting magnetically anisotropic region inclined to form an angle with respect to the axis of rotation of this shaft. A detecting coil is disposed on the periphery of the detecting magnetically anisotropic region. When the detecting voltage for the detecting coil changes owing to temperature changes and time-dependent changes, the changes in the detection sensitivity and in the zero point take place, leading to errors during torque measurement. Correct measured values can be obtained by having a device for correcting such changes in sensitivity and zero point.

In a preference degree renewing unit, the preference degree (Pr) is added to a pre-renewal preference degree (Po) recorded in a preference data base by some rate, and the preference degree (Pn) after the addition is recorded as a post-renewal preference degree into the preference data base.

A server is supplied with degree of preference data as indices of the taste of users for programs from user terminals, and calculates, based on this, correlations of the preference tendencies for the programs of other users using a service. The user terminal displays an electronic program table transmitted from the server, and when a reservation to view or record is input from the user, reservation information is transmitted to the server. The server calculates predicted values of degrees of preference of the respective users for programs to be broadcast in the future on the basis of the correlations of the degrees of preference and the reservation information, and transmits them to the respective user terminals. The user terminal refers to the degree of preference predicted values of the broadcast scheduled programs, and prepares a list of programs to be recommended to the user.
