摘要: An information storage device and an information storage and reproducing apparatus for facilitating the management of information about products and users. A storage device 1 receives an electromagnetic wave through its receiving antenna 11, and produces a DC current, which powers the constituting elements in the storage device 1. A central processor unit 13 thus powered reads the information in a memory 14 and feeds it via a transmitting module 15 to a transmitting antenna 16, which in turns transmits the information on an electromagnetic wave. A scanner 2 transmits the electromagnetic wave through its transmitting module 26 and transmitting antenna 27 to energize the storage device 1, while receiving, through its receiving antenna 21 and receiving module 22, the electromagnetic wave transmitted by the storage device 1. A central processor unit 23 processes the received signal, namely the information stored in the storage device 1, and displays it on a display unit 25.

摘要: In an electroluminescent element in which a first electrode, a first insulating layer, a luminescent layer, a second insulating layer and a second electrode are sequentially laminated on a substrate, the luminescent layer has a first and second luminescent portions which are located apart from each other. A color filter is provided above one of the first and second luminescent portions. The second electrode includes a first part electrode for activating the first luminescent portion and a second part electrode for activating the second luminescent portion. The color filter is formed so that a portion extending from a bottom face of the color filter is inserted into a gap between the first and second luminescent portions to surround an upper face and side faces of the one of the first and second luminescent portions.

摘要: An electroluminescent matrix display device which displays images with uniform brightness on its panel having connecting terminals for both scanning and data electrodes formed on one side of the panel is disclosed. Scanning electrodes requiring larger current than data electrodes are formed vertically on the panel so that they can be connected directly to the terminals formed on the bottom side of the panel, and data electrodes are formed horizontally to be connected to the terminals at the bottom side through wiring leads. Since the wiring leads have different lengths and resistances from one another, the resistances are compensated or adjusted by changing widths of the wiring leads or adding compensating resistors thereto so that the wiring resistances become uniform or differences thereof are reduced. Running directions of the scanning and data electrodes may be exchanged. In this case, wiring resistance differences for the scanning electrodes are eliminated or reduced in a similar manner as done for the data electrodes. In both cases, uniformity of image brightness is much improved.

摘要: An optical scanning apparatus includes a semiconductor laser, a polygonal mirror as a deflector for scanning a light beam from the laser, a photosensitive drum for forming an electrostatic latent image, a converging lens for converging the light beam from the laser onto the photosensitive drum, and a reflection mirror located between the deflector and the photosensitive drum. The reflection mirror is adapted to reflect the light beam so that a light beam reflected by the reflection mirror is used to read a source document placed at a position that is the conjugate of the position of the photosensitive drum surface with respect to the converging device. Inside the casing of the semiconductor laser are a beam splitter for light path separation and a photosensor. The apparatus has an image reader section and a laser printer section, which share a common optical system, thus providing a compact design and cost reduction and also equalizes the accuracy of image reading and printing.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a semiconductor acceleration sensor capable of sensing accelerations in two directions parallel to the surface of a diaphragm and orthogonal to each other with respective proper sensitivities. A semiconductor acceleration sensor is constituted of diaphragm pieces extending from the center of the diaphragm surface to a wafer outer-circumferential frame section, respectively, along an X axis direction and a Y axis direction orthogonal to each other. On the upper surface of the diaphragm pieces, there are formed piezo resistors Rx1 to Rx4, Ry1 to Ry4, Rz1 to Rz4. In the diaphragm pieces disposed on a single line along the X axis direction and the diaphragm pieces disposed on a single line along the Y axis direction, the areas of cross section orthogonal to the axis are set according to a maximum value of acceleration, respectively, in the X axis direction or Y axis direction.

摘要: An anti-lock brake system and a sensor unit for the system, where acceleration occurring in a wheel is easily detected with high accuracy to perform braking control of a motor vehicle. Sensor units (100) having acceleration sensors that detect acceleration occurring, with the rotation of tires (300), in X, Y, and Z directions including the tire rotating direction are provided on rotating bodies of rotation mechanism portions including each tire (300). The sensor units (100) transmit digital values of the detected result as digital information by an electromagnetic wave. The digital information is received by a monitor device (200) provided on each tire house, and an acceleration value obtained by calculation is outputted to a brake control unit (600). The brake control unit (600) estimates a strain amount of each tire (300) based on the obtained acceleration value and previously memorized strain characteristic information, controls a pressure regulating valve (630) based on the estimated tire strain amount and a detected result of a rotating speed of each tire (300), and drives a brake driving actuator (640).
