摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus for processing informational signal etc. that are preferably applied to a digital broadcast receiver etc. A class classification portion (130) generates a class code CL for indicating a class to which pixel data y of a target position in an image signal Vb belongs. From an accumulation table (131), based on this class code CL, difference data DF (correction data of encoding noise) that corresponds to the target position is read. Pixel data (pixel value or DCT coefficient) x that corresponds to the target position in the image signal Vb is supplied to an addition portion (134). The addition portion 134 adds the difference data DF read out of the accumulation table (131) to this pixel data x, to obtain pixel data y of the target position in the image signal Vb. Encoding noise (encoding distortion) of this pixel data y is reduced.

摘要: A passive method is provided as alignment means for aligning an optical fiber with an optical element in assembling an optical module, while increasing alignment accuracy. A mount (28a) equipped with an optical element (3a) is positioned by abutment on a face (33c) of a projection (33a) formed inside a package (33) and on a side (33g) of a positioning pad (37) projecting from the bottom (33f) of the package. A mount (28b) equipped with an optical element (3b) is positioned by abutment on an inner wall (33b) of the package and on a face (33i) of a projection (33c) formed inside the package. Since the optical power of received or emitted light need not be monitored for fine adjustments of alignment, this method is less expensive.

摘要: An apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for selectively performing, in parallel structures, different functions on an input image, sound data or other correlated data. An input is configured to receive the input data. There are at least two circuits, each circuit is coupled to the input and each circuit is configured to perform a different function on the input data. A motion-detection circuit is coupled to the input and each of the at least two circuits. The motion-detection circuit is configured to determine a level of change in the input data and generate an output of motion data. The motion data is used by each of the at least two circuits to perform its corresponding function. A select device is coupled to each of the at least two circuits and a control input. The select device is configured to select as output data, the output of one of the at least two circuits based upon the control input. The different functions performed on the input data may be selected from the group consisting of recovering erroneous data contained in the input data, interpolating the input data, and reducing the noise level of the input data.

摘要: A heating apparatus includes a heater 6 which includes a first heating conductor pattern 1, a second heating conductor patterns 2 and an elongated plate-shaped member 3 made of heat-resistive and insulated material. The first heating conductor pattern 1 is disposed in the central portion in a longitudinal direction of the plate-shaped member 3. The second heating conductor patterns are disposed in both end portions of the plate-shaped member in the longitudinal direction. The first heating conductor pattern 1 and the second heating conductor patterns 2 are independently controlled their temperature. Current is first fed to the first heating conductor pattern 1, and the current feeding is stopped, and current is then fed to the second heating conductor patterns 2. Accordingly, the protective member placed on and along the heater 6 is gradually heated from the center to both ends.

摘要: Each of imaging optical systems has a post-lens system having a front focus at a position of a rear focus of a pre-lens system. Each of the optical axes is set in a direction normal to the optical axes of optical fibers and different from the normal direction to a placement surface of the optical fibers. Each of image pickup planes of CCDs is inclined relative to the optical axis of the imaging optical system so that the longer an object distance of each optical fiber among the optical fibers, the shorter an image distance thereof, and each image pickup plane is located in parallel to the optical axes of the optical fibers.
