摘要: A sensor includes: a detection element including an internal electrode and an external electrode; an electrode terminal member; and a support member. The electrode terminal member includes: a base end portion supported by the support member; an electrode contact portion contacting the internal electrode or the external electrode; and a connection portion having a rear end connected to the base end portion and a front end connected to the electrode contact portion. A distance between the front end of the connection portion and the base end portion in a state where the electrode terminal member is assembled with the support member and separated from the detection element is equal to a distance between the front end of the connection portion and the base end portion in a state where the electrode terminal member is assembled with the detection element and the support member.

摘要: A thermosetting adhesive is configured to include a photoradical generator which generates radicals from irradiation of active energy rays in a thermosetting insulating adhesive component. In a repair method when this thermosetting adhesive is used, a cured matter of the thermosetting adhesive is made soluble or swellable in a predetermined solvent by irradiating the cured matter with active energy rays from the substrate side or the electronic component side prior to separating the electronic component from the substrate, and the cured matter is removed using such solvent. Alternatively, the cured matter of the thermosetting adhesive is made soluble or swellable in a predetermined solvent by irradiating the cured matter with active energy rays after the electronic component has been separated from the substrate, and the cured matter is removed using such solvent.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a sensor which is highly reliable, and a method or producing a sensor which is highly reliable, and which can be easily produced. A method of producing a sensor in which bending of a heater and the like hardly occur is provided. In the invention, an oxygen sensor (1) has: an oxygen sensor element (2); a metal shell (3); first and second sensor terminal metal parts (11), (12); a heater (15); heater terminal metal parts (16), (17); a metal outer tube (21); and a separator (31) which is housed inside the metal outer tube (21), in which the terminal metal part (11) and the like and the heater (15) are held, and which provides insulation between the terminal metal part (11) and the like. An outer-tube butting face (34a) is formed in a flange portion (34) of the separator (31). In the metal outer tube (21), a flange butting face (24b) which butts against the outer-tube butting face (34a) is formed. Both of the outer-tube butting face (34a) and the flange butting face (24b) form an inclined face which is more radially outward positioned as further advancing toward the tip end. The separator (31) is pressed toward the rear end. The pressing is conducted by deforming the metal outer tube (21), and deforming a pressing metal part (41) which is placed around a tip end side portion (33) of the separator (31).

摘要: A steam temperature Ts and a casing air temperature Ta are measured by thermometers. The measurement results are taken into measuring devices and converted into electric signals. The electric signal is A/D converted by the measuring device and then, is sent to a control apparatus where a difference between both the temperature is calculated by a subtracter of a processor provided in the control apparatus. When an absolute value ΔT=|Ta−Ts of this difference is contained within 10° C. continuously ten times, a control signal is sent from a computing unit to a controller which is the control section, a pressure adjusting valve and the like are controlled and a cooling medium is switched to steam.

摘要: A method for producing a cross-linked polymer manifesting a high absorption capacity and having a small content of soluble component by a convenient and expeditious process with high productivity is provided. An absorbent resin such that disposable diapers and other products incorporating the absorbent resin manifest outstanding qualities and a method for the production of the absorbent resin are proposed. The cross-linked polymer according to this invention is produced by a method of polymerizing an aqueous polymerizable monomer solution containing a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a first cross-linking agent capable of forming a hydrogel polymer by polymerization, which method comprises the steps of performing the polymerization in a substantially static state from the time at which the polymerization is initiated till the time at which the whole polymerization system is gelated, subsequently giving the polymerization system a thorough shearing force thereby granulating the hydrogel polymer before the polymerization system has the temperature thereof elevated by the heat of polymerization to the highest level, and further continuing the polymerization.

摘要: A control system for an automatic transmission includes: a clutch adapted to be applied when a forward running range is selected, to transmit the rotation of an engine to the transmission mechanism of a speed change unit and a hydraulic servo for applying/releasing the clutch. A control unit controls oil pressure fed to the hydraulic servo and includes: an application starting pressure detector for detecting application starting pressure at the instant when the application of the clutch is started; an initial application pressure setter for setting an initial application pressure on the basis of the detected application starting pressure; and an oil pressure regulator for adjusting the oil pressure fed to the hydraulic servo, when a change is made to a forward running range, and then gradually raising that oil pressure. The application starting pressure detected by the application starting pressure detector is the value at which the application of the clutch is actually started, so that the initial application pressure can be properly set even if the actual oil pressure fed to the hydraulic servo regardless of the urging force of a return spring or variation in manufacture of the hydraulic control system.

摘要: A windshield wiper control apparatus compensates for small-diameter raindrops such as a drizzle and raindrops splashed over by a preceding vehicle which may worsen the visibility of a driver even though the level of precipitation is not much and accumulatively calculates the amount of raindrops just after the wiping action of a wiper blade, thereby causing an optimized automatic wiping action to be realized. In addition, a windshield wiper control apparatus effects an automatic wiper operation without modifications and additional use of new operating switches by only adding a new control device between the conventional windshield apparatus not having any automatic wiper operation and the wiper blade driver.

摘要: A thermal fixing device for a xerographic reproducing apparatus includes a thin planar resistance heating element having a low thermal mass and a high coefficient of thermal expansion. The heating element is supported in such manner that one end thereof is free to move linearly under thermal expansion to activate a heater displacement detector comprising a pivotally mounted lever arm having a right angle configuration. One end of the lever arm is received in an opening in the heating element and the other end form a contact of a normally open switch which is adapted to be closed by pivoting of the arm due to expansion of the heating element. Closure of the switch activates a power controller to interrupt the power supply to the heating element.
