    摘要: An improved high speed process for texturing continuous filament yarn is provided wherein the improvement comprises cooling the yarn, subsequent to texturing and prior to applying tension, by contact for at least 4 milliseconds with a curved surface at a temperature of -29.degree. to 2.degree. C. and an RMS of up to 10, frictional forces creating a yarn tension of 0.036 to 0.45 gram per denier per end at the surface. Apparatus is also provided for cooling the continuous filament yarn subsequent to texturing and prior to applying tension. The apparatus comprises a curved surface having a minimum length for yarn contact of 7.6 cm, an RMS of up to 10 and a temperature of -29.degree. to 2.degree. C. Textured yarn brought into contact with the surface for at least 4 milliseconds at a yarn tension of 0.036 to 0.045 gram per denier per end is cooled to increase yarn stability and prevent pullout of yarn texture.

These frames provide radial winding conductor grooves. The top annular winding frame provides a plurality of grooves for guiding an inter-connecting conductor therein each of which is formed between two adjacent winding conductor grooves. The inter-connecting conductor is guided through said guiding groove to connect between the adjacent two unit coils.

    摘要: A spring member comprises a set of flat arcuate ring segments each having a flange portion extending perpendicularly from its opposite ends. The segments are assembled about a plug shoulder to resist rotation of a coupling nut thereabout only when each of a pair of connector shells are nearly mated, the segments being driven rearwardly by the receptacle and providing a substantially continuous 360.degree. metal-to-metal EMI shield between the forward end face of the receptacle and the plug shoulder when the shells are fully mated. The flange portions are driven into detents disposed in the coupling nut flange and resist rotation only near full mate.

The flexural pivot can be of the cantilever type (10) wherein both members (12, 16) have relatively the same shape or of the double ended type (60) wherein the two members (62, 66) have different shapes. In either embodiment, the smaller outer diameter portions of one member fit in the circumferentially defined space between the larger outer diameter portions of the other member. The disclosed construction eliminates the need for a separate supporting sleeve for the flexural pivot (110, 60).

    摘要: An elongated retaining and electromagnetic shielding member for a towed underwater acoustic array which includes a plurality of interconnected hydrophones and circuit modules protected by a plastic foam cushioning sheath, covered with a tough, essentially acoustically transparent hose-like jacket and containing a plurality of aramid fiber ropes as strength members to carry the tensile loads on the array, wherein the retaining and shielding member consists of an an elongated tube-like electrically conductive fabric member interposed between the sheath and the exterior hose jacket which is longitudinally stitched to provide a plurality of spaced parallel tubes, some of which are of just sufficient diameter to contain said strength members and a larger central tube for containing the hydrophones, circuit modules and interconnecting wires. The strength members are terminated at a connector at each end of the array, and a spacer member is placed near each connector to spread the strength member ropes to the desired diameter. The spacer members and the adjacent ends of the retaining members are each cemented to the strength member ropes.

    摘要: The disc brake (10) includes a parking cartridge device (28) which transfers reaction forces of the mechanical parking actuator (36) directly to the caliper housing (12) and also provides support and guidance for a cable (90) attached to lever arms (70) of the mechanical parking actuator (36). The mechanical parking actuator (36) is disposed within an opening (34) of the parking cartridge housing (30), the parking cartridge housing (30) having a plurality of through openings (42) so that bolts (50) may be secured at one end to the caliper housing (12) and at the other end to a bracket (60) which abuts an end (33) of the parking cartridge housing (30). An end plug (48) encloses the opening (34) and abuts the bracket (60) so that reaction forces from the mechanical parking actuator (36) are transmitted directly to the bracket (60), bolts (50), and caliper housing (12), and the parking cartridge housing (30) does not receive any reaction forces so that it may be made of a lighter weight material and of a smaller construction. The mechanical parking actuator (36) includes a pair of lever arms (70) which are clasped together by a U-shaped retainer (80) or pin (100) which secure the cable (90) to the lever arms (70).
