    摘要: An injection apparatus has a cylinder member having a feed opening (215) formed at a predetermined position; an injection member disposed within the cylinder member in a manner capable of advancing and retreating; a molding-material feed apparatus which attached to the feed opening (215) and feeds a molding material into the cylinder member through the feed opening (215); and thermoelectric cooling elements (261) to (264) disposed at predetermined positions around the feed opening (215). Since the thermoelectric cooling elements (261) to (264) are disposed at the predetermined positions around the feed opening (215), temperature around the feed opening (215) can be brought to an appropriate value, and the response of temperature control can be enhanced. Thermoelectric cooling elements (g) are disposed between a housing (152) of a drive section and a heat transfer member, whereby heat generated within the housing (152) is transmitted to the heat transfer member via the housing (152) and emitted to the exterior of the drive section. Accordingly, rated torque generated by driving the drive section can be increased.

    摘要: An injection molding machine having an injection plunger (21) capable of moving back and forth within an injection chamber (22) includes a scraper ring (23) attached to one end of an injection cylinder (2) having a hole penetrated by the injection plunger. A protuberance (23a), which forms the smallest diameter portion of the hole penetrating the scraper ring and extends to the surface of the injection plunger, is formed on the inside wall of that scraper ring. The perimeters (23e, 23h) of this protuberance scrape off any molding material which adheres to the injection plunger. The scraper ring has windows (23f, 23g) for the purpose of dropping scraped-off material outside thereof. Preferably, the injection plunger has a shank (21b) and a head (21a) which forms the tip of the injection plunger and which has a diameter larger than the shank and slightly smaller than the injection chamber; the protuberance of the scraper ring has a diameter which is slightly larger than the shank and smaller than the head.

    摘要: A plasticizing unit is provided for palsticizing material which is subsequently supplied to an injection molding press. The unit includes a screw disposed in a barrel which has an inlet, an outlet, a reservoir zone portion, and a plasticizing zone portion. The plasticizing zone portion of the barrel and the screw each have a continuous helical groove of opposite hand as the other groove and the grooves transfer material therebetween to effect plasticizing of the material. The reservoir zone portion of the barrel receives a shot volume of material which has been plasticized during passage through the helical grooves of the barrel and the screw. A volume displacement member which is axially movably disposed in a bore of the screw is movable within the reservoir zone portion to selectively control the shot volume of plasticized material received in the reservoir zone portion.

    摘要: In a plasticizing assembly for use in an injection molding machine, which assembly has a high-pressure chamber and a low-pressure chamber, which contains the feed screw, and a plurality of fixing screws disposed on a circular line, a connecting sleeve is provided, which partly surrounds the plasticizing cylinder or a rear section of a bipartite plasticizing cylinder and surrounds also the nozzle body or a forward section of a bipartite plasticizing cylinder in part of its length and is secured to the plasticizing cylinder or to its rear section. The fixing screws are screwed in and axially supported in tapped bores of the connecting sleeve and at their end faces bear on abutment faces of the nozzle body or of the forward section of the plasticizing cylinder. As a result, a replacement of the nozzle body or of the forward section of the plasticizing cylinder can be effected in a simpler manner and more quickly and will require lower physical forces and a simpler implement and it is possible to supply energy at a higher rate.

    摘要: In the plasticizing cylinder the plasticized plastic material is transported by a rotating feed screw into a space which is in front of the feed screw and the plastic material is subsequently injected into the injection mold of the injection molding machine by an axial discharge stroke of the feed screw. During that stroke a backflow-preventing valve is effective to seal a high-pressure space from a low-pressure space, which contains the feed screw. The plasticizing cylinder is composed of a cylinder head, which always completely encloses the high-pressure space and the backflow-preventing valve, and a cylinder shank, which encloses the low-pressure space and the feed screw. Even when the feed screw is in its rearmost initial position will the high-pressure space not be adjoined by a joint which leads to the outside of the plasticizing cylinder so that the problems previously encountered in connection with the sealing of the high-pressure space are avoided.
