    摘要: A cable-stranding apparatus includes a stationary guide, a motor, a driven guide, and a controller electrically coupled to the motor. The stationary guide is configured to guide strand elements in a spaced-apart configuration and to pass a core member. The motor is operatively associated with a guide driver. The driven guide is disposed at least partially within the guide driver so as to rotate therewith. The driven guide is configured to receive the strand elements from the stationary guide, individually guide the strand elements received from the stationary guide, and to further pass the core member. The controller is electrically coupled to the motor and configured to control the rotational speed and direction of the motor.

Therefore, the plurality of wire materials 18A to 18C does not rotate in the bobbins 14A to 14C at a stranded point 26 of the plurality of wire materials 18A to 18C. As a result, when the plurality of wire materials 18A to 18C is coated with unvulcanized rubber 88 in the rubber coating section 28, the plurality of wire materials 18A to 18C does not cross the inside of the unvulcanized rubber. For this reason, the unvulcanized rubber 88 sufficiently fills spaces between the plurality of wire materials 88, and sufficiently adheres to the surface of each of the wire materials 18A to 18C.

    摘要: To improve a tensile strength without impairing flexibility and adhesion strength to concrete, and to form thick coating in a surface layer part for preventing a basis material from being exposed by a damage of the coating, a method of forming double coatings on a prestressing strand includes a primary painting process after a pre-treatment process, in which a resin coating is formed only in the surface layer, a secondary painting process in which respectively individual state resin coating is formed on outer peripheral face of each of the core wire and the surrounding wires under a loosened and separated state, thereby forming a double coating in each surrounding wire, and a finishing process of tightening and retwisting the surrounding wires about the core wire to an original state. The obtained prestressing strand has the double coating portions only in the surface layer thereof and enough flexibility and adhesion strength to concrete.

    摘要: An elevator load bearing assembly includes a plurality of cords within a jacket. The cords are spaced from an exterior surface on the jacket such that the spacing remains generally constant along the length of the belt. The jacket has a smooth, uninterrupted exterior surface for contacting sheaves as the belt moves in the elevator system. A method of making the inventive belt assembly is disclosed. The inventive belt assembly minimizes the possibility for generating an annoying, audible sound and vibration during elevator operation.
