    摘要: A used radial tyre tread, folded into a minimum of three loops and held in compression, in a lateral external circlip, to form a flexible, resilient, abrasion resistant bollard with anisotropic properties. By extending the lateral external circlip, longitudinally, more tyre treads can be added to form a baffle or a barrier. The removal of the tread section significantly reduces the bulk of the waste tyre.

    摘要: The invention is a system and related method to reduce erosion caused by storm runoff. Eco-friendly erosion reduction assemblies help reduce the effects of both sheet and rill erosion. The assemblies comprise a receptacle housing a perforated water velocity reduction wall embedded in media. The wall may be constructed from recycled tires and the media utilized may be from on-site materials. A series of such assemblies in an erosion zone limits erosion by reducing water velocity.

    摘要: A constructing method by using waste tires includes cutting sidewalls from waste tires; connecting multiple waste tires in series together by the sidewalls to form a layer of waste tires; filling the waste tires with ballast; and stacking another layer of waste tires on the previous layer with a staggered arrangement. An end member, being composed of a cut waste tire with two ends connected to an outer periphery of an unbroken waste tire, is provided at an end portion of the layers. Whereby, the construction built from waste tires can be used in projects such as a protection slope, road berm, riverbank, riverbed, etc., and has a good strength and a low cost.

    摘要: A soil conservation method includes producing a plurality of water accumulating units that are intercommunicated with one another, fixing the water accumulating units on a soil layer, and constructing paving and two channels on tops of the water accumulating units. The channels are located on two sides of the paving and communicated with at least one of the water accumulating units. A soil conservation system is thus provided. Rainwater falling on the paving is guided into the channels. The rainwater is then guided into and stored in the water accumulating units and then permeates into the soil layer.

A plurality of preselected flexible lengths of the coated matrix/blanket are individually positioned successively in an overlapping orientation with the exposed adhesive area of the upper surface of the adjoining positioned length tightly affixed to the adhesive lower surface of the succeeding length to form a continuous composite structure.
