Abstract:
A transmission assembly for converting a garage door operator (GDO) from a ceiling mounted configuration to a jackshaft configuration may include an output coupler for operably coupling a drive tube rotatable to alternately open and close a sectional door, a pinion assembly operably coupled to the output coupler via a flexible coupling member, a releasable coupling assembly, a handle, and a cam operated engagement assembly. The releasable coupling assembly may be operably coupled to a motor output shaft of a GDO motor. The releasable coupling assembly may have an engaged state in which rotation of the motor output shaft is transferred to the pinion assembly and a disengaged state in which the rotation of the motor is not transferred to the pinion assembly. The cam operated engagement assembly may be operably coupled to the handle and the releasable coupling assembly to transition the releasable coupling assembly between the engages state and the disengaged state based on a position of the handle.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a hinge for furniture or domestic appliances, comprising a lateral part on which a hinge part is pivotally mounted via two levers. A damping device is provided having a movable damping element which is mounted in a movable manner between guide elements for damping purposes and which can be moved via a first actuation element during a closing movement of the hinge before reaching the closed position. A second actuation element is provided which pushes the damping element during an opening movement of the hinge before reaching the maximum opening position for damping an opening process. In this manner, the hinge provides an opening as well as a closing damping function.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotary drive (100) comprising: an output shaft (330); a motor (20), acting on the output shaft (330) via a downstream gear mechanism (30); an energy-store module with a linear line of action and with transmission elements (32, 326) to apply pressure circumferentially to an eccentric cam disk (331) arranged on the output shaft (330) for conjoint rotation therewith; and an intermediate shaft (320), being offset in relation said line of action and being provided between the motor (20) and the output shaft (330). The transmission elements (32, 326) comprise a roller lever (32), having a cam-follower roller (326) spaced apart from the intermediate shaft (320), wherein the cam-follower roller (326), pressed circumferentially against the eccentric cam disk (331), interacts with the output shaft (330). The energy-store module is arranged on the motor side in relation to the intermediate shaft (320).

A method for controlling movement of a window glass (12) in a vehicle using an electric motor (26) associated with a drive mechanism (1,2,3,4) through a cable (50), said method comprising the steps: determining an actual position (X2) of the window glass (12) based on the movement of the motor (26), determining a cable stiffness (S2), determining a position lag (400) of the window glass (12) based on the determined actual position (X2) of the window glass (12), a predetermined position (Z2) of the window glass (12) and the cable stiffness (S2); and continuously correcting the position of the window glass (12) based on the determined position lag (400).
Abstract:
A hinge for a closing door of a compartment, of the type having a first and a second body, respectively integral to the door and to the frame of the corresponding compartment, or vice versa, and mutually hinged by at least one pin, first elastic means mounted on the second body and acting upon the first body, and at least one dampening device fixed to the second body, acting upon the first body and actuated by at least a first slider, functionally connected to the dampener, and by at least a second slider, configured for engaging, directly or indirectly, the aforesaid first body in correspondence of at least a certain angular range assumed by the first body with respect to the second body during their relative rotation, whereby the second slider is actuated in translation by the first body when engaged therewith, as well as constraining means between the first slider and the second slider. Advantagiously, the aforesaid constraining means include at least a lever pivoted to the second body, and the aforesaid first and second slider are constrained at least in rotation to one lever.

Abstract:
A door hinge for a household appliance, the household appliance including a body and a door, the door being movable about a horizontal axis between a substantially vertical closed position and a substantially horizontal opened position. The door hinge includes a housing couplable to the body, a door lever pivotably mountable on the door for movement about a main shaft, a weight compensating spring and a closing spring. The weight compensating spring holds the door substantially in a position of equilibrium when the door is opened and the closing spring applies a self-closing force shortly before the door reaches the closed position and applies a closure maintaining force when the door reaches the closed position. Further included is a dampening device that counteracts one or both of a closing force and an opening force.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly is provided to mount a door to a housing, and includes a housing fixation section (1), a hinge cup (3) pivotally connected to the housing fixation section (1), and a damping mechanism (4) positioned entirely within the hinge cup (3) to dampen movement of the door as it closes on the housing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a jack (4) for moving a movable panel of a vehicle, including: a endless screw and nut assembly (14) defining an axis (22); a bearing (20) in which an element (14) selected from the nut and the screw, for example the latter, is rotatably mounted; and a tensioner (60) which is force-tilted onto the element or onto the hearing and which biases the latter by means of mutual axial bearing when the jack is inoperative.
