Abstract: A motor unit for transmitting a driving force of a motor driven by a battery to an opening and closing mechanism through a worm gear and a worm wheel includes lubricating grease. The grease includes a solid additive that increases a friction coefficient between the worm gear and the worm wheel as its addition amount increases. The addition amount is not less than a first threshold and is not more than a second threshold. The first threshold is an addition amount for realizing a friction coefficient at which transmission efficiency from the worm wheel to the worm gear becomes 0 [%]. The second threshold is an addition amount for realizing a friction coefficient at which a starting voltage of the motor to move the opening and closing mechanism in an opening direction becomes a minimum guaranteed voltage of the battery after the opening and closing mechanism is restrained fully closed.

Abstract: A lock device for locking the sliding door comprises a first lock portion and a transmission portion. The transmission portion may move along relative to the first lock portion a predetermined path, so that the transmission portion may bring the sliding door to move along the predetermined path to open or close the sliding door. The transmission portion has a plurality of successively arranged mating portions for locking with the first lock portion. The first lock portion has a first position in which the first lock portion is locked with the transmission portion and a second position in which the first lock portion is released from the transmission portion. The transmission portion may be locked in different positions along the predetermined path by matching the first lock portion 110 with different mating portions, so that the sliding door can be locked in different positions.

Abstract: A rear door assembly includes a motor having a shaft with a first gear attached thereto. A first end of a lever is rigidly fixed to the first shaft for rotation therewith proximate the first gear. A belt is engaged with the first gear. A rear door is pivotally supported to the vehicle and is movable between a door closed orientation and a door open orientation. The rear door has a gear assembly coupled to the lever. The rear door and the gear assembly are moved by the lever upon rotation of the lever by the motor. The gear assembly receives rotary motion from the belt such that angular displacement of the rear door caused by the rotary motion of the belt during movement between the closed orientation and the open orientation occurs at half the rate of the angular displacement of the lever.
