摘要: A wear detection method and system for a linear actuator such as a pneumatic cylinder, a hydraulic cylinder, an electric cylinder or the like. A physical amount detection sensor 9 is mounted on a linear actuator in which a push-pull member connected to a rod 2 pushes and pulls a pressure-receiving object while applying a lateral load in a direction different from the linear movement direction. An external force that is generated between a tube and the mounting member when the pressure-receiving object is pushed and pulled is detected by the physical amount detection sensor 9 and compared with standard external force data, which was detected in a state without abnormalities and stored in a computation/storage/determination processing device 10, to computationally determine whether the linear actuator is in a normal state or an abnormal state.

摘要: A vehicle comprising a hydraulic fluid reservoir, a hydraulic fluid pump, a hydraulic filter, a sensor, and a vehicle control unit. The hydraulic fluid reservoir may have a bottom portion filled with hydraulic fluid and a top portion filled with air. The hydraulic fluid pump may be hydraulically coupled to the hydraulic fluid reservoir so as to draw hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic fluid reservoir. The hydraulic filter may be hydraulically coupled to the hydraulic fluid reservoir so as to filter debris from the hydraulic fluid entering the hydraulic fluid reservoir. The sensor may be in communication with the vehicle control unit where the sensor is configured to measure a variable indicative of a failure status of the hydraulic filter and communicate the variable to the vehicle control unit. The vehicle control unit may be configured to derate the hydraulic fluid pump to a first degree when the variable indicative of the failure status of the hydraulic filter is above a first threshold and configured to derate the hydraulic fluid pump to a second degree when the variable indicative of the failure status of the hydraulic filter is above a second threshold.

摘要: Systems and methods for controlling valve assemblies associated with an actuator in an electro-hydraulic system are disclosed. In one method, a controller monitors hydraulic fluid flow for an actuator to identify one valve assembly connected to the actuator as a meter-in valve and another valve assembly connected to the actuator as a meter-out valve. In one aspect, the valve assembly most recently identified as the meter-in valve is controlled to maintain a pressure setpoint and the valve assembly most recently identified as the meter-out valve is controlled to maintain a hydraulic fluid flow rate. The method can also include determining whether the actuator is in a passive state or an overrunning state and controlling the valve most recently identified as the meter-in valve to maintain a first pressure setpoint when the actuator is in a passive state and to maintain a second pressure setpoint when the actuator is in an overrunning state.

摘要: This application describes apparatuses, systems, and methods that combines specific configurations of a pneumatic actuation system together with a pressure measurement device to allow for measurement of pressure inside isolated subsystems within the system to thereby provide detection of leaks within the system. In certain exemplary embodiments, the apparatus comprises a directional control valve that employs at least one port connectivity configuration that creates at least one isolated fluid subsystem within the overall system. When the valve is in this isolated subsystem configuration, a given mass of fluid (i.e., compressed gas) can neither enter nor leave the subsystem. The leak detection method consists of momentarily placing the valve in this isolated subsystem configuration when switching between standard configurations, and measuring pressure with at least one pressure sensor in the isolated fluid subsystem while in this configuration, where loss of pressure in this configuration indicates existence of a leak.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for automatically detecting the failure configuration of a pneumatic actuator. A control module is operatively coupled to the actuator, and the actuator is operatively coupled to a valve having a flow control member. When a number of pilot valves included in the control module is indicative of a double-acting actuator, the failure configuration of the actuator is determined based on the number of pilot valves. When the number of pilot valves included in the control module is indicative of a single-acting actuator, the failure configuration of the actuator is determined by comparing a first measurement value obtained in response to moving the flow control member in a first direction to a first position and a second measurement value obtained in response to moving the flow control member in a second direction opposite the first direction to a second position.

摘要: A hydraulic drive system 100A for a work machine includes: a boom cylinder 4; an arm cylinder 8; a hydraulic pump device 51; a control valve 5; a regenerative device 61; a first operation device 41; a second operation device 42; a sensor device 71; and a controller 27. The sensor device 71 includes at least one of pressure sensors 23, 24, 25, and 26. The controller 27 includes an abnormality detection part 142 and a first control part. The abnormality detection part 142 determines whether or not the sensor device 71 is abnormal. If the sensor device 71 is abnormal, the first control part controls the regenerative device 61 such that the hydraulic fluid returning from the boom cylinder 4 is not supplied to the arm cylinder 8 even if the values measured by the sensor device 71 satisfy regenerative conditions.

摘要: A positioner according to the present invention includes: an electro-pneumatic converter that converts an input electric signal into a pneumatic signal and controls the valve opening of a regulating valve by driving an operational unit in accordance with the pneumatic signal; an operating-point searching unit that changes the electric signal by performing open loop control to search for an operating point indicating a target valve-opening value of the regulating valve when an output air pressure of the pneumatic signal starts to change; and a PST executing unit that executes a PST on the regulating valve by using the operating point found by the operating-point searching unit. The operating-point searching unit sets the operating point based on a value of the electric signal when the output air pressure matches a first reference value.

摘要: A system can include one or more valve arrangements with a working chamber to receive a working fluid at a first pressure, and a control chamber to receive fluid at a second pressure. A dynamic seal can be disposed on a land of a valve element. A supply passage can be in communication between the control chamber and a tank and can include a check valve. A relief valve can be disposed between the check valve and the control chamber. A pilot pump and another relief valve may be disposed upstream of the check valve. The relief valve downstream of the check valve can have a higher pressure limit than the downstream one. A pressure sensor may be disposed between the check valve and the control chamber and used to warn the operator of a high pressure in the control chamber.
