摘要: A pneumatic actuator and control valve assembly has a housing with a control cavity for a control valve and an actuator cavity for an actuator piston and rod assembly. The control cavity and actuator cavity both have an elongated shape and are substantially parallel to each other. The control cavity has a supply port and first and second control valve outlet ports and at least one vent port with the control valve being movable through the control cavity for controlling communication between the supply port and the first and second outlet ports. The actuator cavity has first and second ports at the retracted and extended ends for shuttling the piston and within the actuator cavity between a retracted and extended end position. The housing has a first inlet and second inlet for passage of pressurized fluid to and from the housing.

These configurations may regulate flow of instrument air to a pneumatic actuator to operate a valve. The controller may comprise enclosures, including a first enclosure and a second enclosure, each having a peripheral wall forming an interior space, and circuitry comprising a barrier circuit disposed in the interior space of one of the enclosures that power limits digital signals that exits that enclosure. In one example, the peripheral wall of enclosures are configured to allow instrument air into the interior space of the first enclosure but to prevent instrument air from the interior space of the second enclosure.

摘要: Systems and methods may be provided to digitally control both position and crossover pressure in a double-acting pneumatic actuator, in view of constraints (e.g., a deadband range comprising a set point) set on the crossover pressure. Control may be achieved, via a control algorithm (e.g., a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) control algorithm) acting upon inputs of actuator position feedback and crossover pressure feedback (e.g., as indicated by pressure feedback of each respective pneumatic chamber). Further, the embodiments described herein may reduce the necessary frequency of control actions for adjusting crossover pressure, thus reducing wear on process components, and allowing for finer control of actuator position.

摘要: An intermittent air discharge apparatus has a main valve and a pilot valve, the main valve being switched between a discharge state and a discharge stop state. The pilot valve is switched between an air-supply state to supply air to a pilot chamber for air-discharge, and an air-supply stop state. When the pilot valve is switched to the air-supply state, an exhaust passage communicates with the pilot chamber for air-discharge. When the pilot valve is switched to the air-supply state, a supply or exhaust passage allows an air supply passage to communicate with the pilot chamber for air-discharge and a pilot chamber for stopping air-supply; when the pilot valve is switched to the air-supply stop state, communication with the air supply passage is blocked. A flow rate of air from the pilot chamber for air-discharge is set by the exhaust passage, and a flow rate of air from the pilot chamber for stopping air-supply is set by the supply or exhaust passage.

摘要: A speed controller capable of controlling an action speed of an external cylinder in one stroke in a step-wise manner. The speed controller includes a first flow path and a second flow path that allow a first port and a second port to be in communication with each other. The first flow path is provided with a first check valve for allowing flow from the first port to the second port. The second flow path is provided with a first needle valve, and an opening hole of the first check valve is constituted as a part of a flow path. The first needle valve adjusts the flow rate by changing an opening area of the opening hole with a tip portion fixed on a piston in the cylinder chamber. The speed controller further includes a third flow path allowing the first port and the cylinder chamber to be in communication with each other. The third flow path is provided with a second check valve for allowing flow from the first port to the cylinder chamber.

The test means includes a second solenoid.
