The seal is formed by a plurality of resiliently flexible annular lips molded integrally with the bore at spaced locations along the bore and extending inwardly of the bore to seal with the surface of a cylindrical component (e.g. a tube) inserted in the bore. The lips are angled to extend both inwardly and along the bore in one direction to receive said cylindrical component and preferably three or more sealing lips are provided.

Specific resilient performance, or load-characteristics, of the springs are obtained by controlling a turn angle of the coil spring.     摘要: An improved gasket sealing motor leads which extend from the interior of an electric motor enclosure. The gasket is provided with one or more resilient, conical bushings whose diameters extend through a wide range of lead diameters. By severing the bushings at an appropriate point, round apertures are formed through which the leads can be pulled and sealed. The flat portion of the gasket which surrounds the bushings is secured to the motor enclosure in a conventional manner.

    摘要: A support and connection system for a riser run from a subsea well to a floating vessel has a female housing supported from the vessel that receives a male termination head secured to the riser string. The termination head fits within a tapered bore in the termination housing. Radial ports connect with radial passages in the termination head for transmitting fluids to and from the vessel and subsea well. A compound curved seat prevents jamming of the termination housing in the termination head due to the high tension placed on the termination housing. The seat is annular and also curves in a vertical direction.
