    Abstract: A pipe connection assembly having a fitting, an end section of the fitting for receiving a pipe end, a sealing ring, a separating ring, a cutting ring and a holding element, wherein the fitting has an inner section with an inner diameter adapted to the outer diameter of the pipe end to be received, wherein the end section has an inner contour tapered in sections starting from the distal end, wherein the sealing ring, the separating ring and the cutting ring are arranged such that they are axially movable inside the end section of the fitting, and wherein the holding element has an inner thread for screwing onto an outer thread formed on the fitting and a stop element protruding inwards for abutment against the arrangement of the sealing ring, the separating ring and the cutting ring.

    Abstract: A conduit fitting of the type having first and second threaded fitting components and at least one conduit gripping device, further includes a stroke limiting member that allows the fitting to be pulled up by applying a predetermined torque. In one embodiment, the stroke limiting member may be a non-integral torque collar. Alternatively, the fitting may also be pulled up by turns or may have an integral torque collar. In still another embodiment, a stroke limiting member is provided that may be used to enable a fitting that is designed to be pulled up by turns to also be pulled up by torque. In other embodiments, the non-integral torque collar may be installed onto one of the fitting components, and then deformed so as to prevent or make it more difficult to remove the torque collar after installation onto the fitting component.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a surface heat treatment method in a salt bath at low temperature, suitable for partially hardening the surface of a workpiece through heat treatment, including plating the surface of a workpiece with a first metal layer; partially peeling the first metal layer; heat treating the workpiece at a temperature of 400 to 500° C. for a predetermined period of time; and totally peeling the first metal layer. Thereby, low-temperature heat treatment is effective at heat treating the workpiece while minimizing deterioration of corrosion resistance.

    Abstract: An improved compression conduit fitting to be attachable to threadless conduit. The conduit fitting includes a generally cylindrical body with a longitudinal internal bore extending therethrough. The body has an externally threaded conduit receiving end and an externally threaded conductor egressing end located opposite the receiving end. A gasket of annular shape is placed within the internal bore of the body. Moreover, an internally threaded gland nut of annular shape is slideably positioned over the conduit to be securely attached to the body. Finally, a compression ring of annular shape is interposed between the gland nut and the body to compresses one end of the conduit against the gasket, thereby forming a liquid tight seal.
