Abstract: To provide a pipe joint that can immediately shut off a hydrogen gas flow path at an initial stage when a plug (nozzle side member) comes out of a socket (filling apparatus side member) to prevent release of outgas. A pipe joint (100) of the present invention includes: a cylindrical nozzle side member (10) with a shutoff valve (5), in the cylindrical nozzle side member (10) being formed a passage (1A); and a cylindrical filling apparatus side member (20) with a shutoff valve (24), in the cylindrical filling apparatus side member (20) being formed a passage (21A), wherein when the nozzle side member (10) and the filling apparatus side member (20) are connected with each other, central axes of the passages (1A, 21A) of the nozzle side member (10) and the filling apparatus side member (20) do not form a same straight line, and the central axes of the passages (1A, 21A) are offset without intersecting, and the shutoff valves (5, 24) of the both members (10, 20) open to communicate the passages (1A, 21A) of the both members (10, 20) with each other, and when the nozzle side member (10) is separated from the filling apparatus side member (20), the shutoff valves (5, 24) of the both members (10, 20) close.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a detachable anti-vibration sealing protection device for a pipe flange. The protection device includes a casing, wherein left and right end surfaces of the casing have through holes for the pipeline to pass through, and the casing has an accommodation cavity for placing the flange; a first shock absorption assembly for radial shock absorption of the flange; and a second shock absorption assembly which is installed in a one-to-one correspondence with the flange and is configured for axial shock absorption of the corresponding flange. The first shock absorption assembly and the second shock absorption assembly are installed in the accommodation cavity.

Abstract: A coupling assembly (10) is reconfigurable among three states. In a disconnected state, a spring-biased lock indicator (20) is in a first lock indicator position, and the lock indicator includes a restriction member (40) that in the first lock indicator position retains an actuator in a first actuator position such that a valve is in a closed position and a locking pin is in a retracted position. In a connected/valve-closed state, the lock indicator (20) is in a second lock indicator position in which the restriction member (40) permits movement of the actuator (30), but with the actuator (30) still being in the first actuator position such that the valve is in the closed position and the locking pin (46) is in the retracted position. In a connected/valve-open state, the lock indicator (20) is in the second lock indicator position to permit movement of the actuator (30), and now with the actuator (30) being in the second actuator position such that the valve is in the open position and the locking pin (46) is in an extended position to lock a second coupling assembly to the coupling assembly to form a unisex coupling connection.

Abstract: Fluid management systems for handling pressurized fluid connect various subsystems or subunits without the need to use reinforced tubing. The system utilizes one or more segments of unreinforced conduit that are encapsulated at various points along a length of the segment with one or more rigid encapsulating members. The unreinforced conduit may be made a disposable element while the rigid encapsulating members may be re-used. In one aspect, the encapsulating member may include a two-part valve body that surrounds and encapsulates a portion of the unreinforced conduit. In another aspect, the encapsulating member may include a two-part jacket that surrounds and encapsulates a portion of the unreinforced conduit. The two-part valve bodies and two-part jackets may be joined at various points within the system as part of the overall flow system.

Abstract: A fire engine hose connector system and a method for using the system are reported. The system allows for rapid connection between the fire hose and the fire engine, and more importantly the system enables even more rapid disconnection. The fire engine and firefighting personnel may make a rapid escape form an overtaking wildfire. The ability to rapidly disconnect and escape from the fire scene allows the fire engine and personnel to access hydrant supplies that would otherwise not be available due to safety procedures that preclude connection when the long disconnect time requirements of prior art connectors place the escape of the fire engine and personnel at risk in a rapidly moving fire. The connector further includes a means to bend the connector for stress relief and ease of handling and multiple safety interlocks.

Abstract: A fluid connection joint to couple tubular pipes intended to convey gas, compressed air and other fluids. The fluid connection joint includes a deformable internal ring having sealing surfaces internally to engage with an outer surface of a first tubular element and frontally to engage with a second tubular element. The deformable internal ring is located within a housing that is coupled to a flange of the second tubular element by fixing screws. The tightening of the fixing screws results in a substantially radial compression of the internal ring and seals around the first tubular element and a second substantially axial compression of the frontal seal against the flange.

Abstract: A plug connection including two coupling parts releasably locked by a locking device. The locking device includes a retaining part and two retaining webs, one on each coupling part. The retaining part can be assembled on one of the coupling parts, in a pre-assembled state, and, in the assembled state, includes C-shaped retaining portions that axially and radially surround the retaining webs. The retaining part also has an actuation region that operates to spread open the retaining portions when a release force is applied on the actuation region. A locking part is configured such that the locking part can be moved transversely from a release position into a locking position. In the release position, the locking part allows radial movement of the retaining part out of the assembled state and, in the locking position, prevents a radial movement of the retaining part out of the assembled state.
