Abstract: Provided are a wireless communication terminal device and a control channel forming method with which, in the forming of a control channel for transmitting control information including an ACK/NACK and CSI (channel state information), wasteful use of resources is reduced compared to that in related art. In the case where CSI is transmitted independently, and in the case where CSI and an ACK/NACK are transmitted at the same time, the same format is used to form a control channel. Furthermore, in the case where an ACK/NACK is transmitted independently, another format is used if a component carrier (CC) number is equal to or less than 2, and the same format is used if the CC number is equal to or greater than 3.

Abstract: An infrastructure equipment of a wireless communications network is configured to transmit signals to one or more communications devices via a wireless access interface, and to receive signals from one or more of the communications devices via the wireless access interface. The wireless access interface provides communications resources arranged in time divided units of a carrier frequency bandwidth providing a plurality of blocks of communications resources, each of the time divided units comprising on a downlink of the wireless access interface a control channel for transmitting control channel messages and a shared channel, the control channel message allocating communications resources of the shared channel to the communications devices to receive the signals from the one or more infrastructure equipment. The infrastructure equipment is configured to transmit data, as a plurality of data units, to the one or more communications devices, each data unit being encoded for transmission in accordance with a repeat request-type process, the encoding providing an indication of whether the data has been received correctly by a communications device. Each of the data units is transmitted in one of a repeating number of consecutive time divided units according to a separately controlled repeat request-type process. The transmitter is configured to transmit a control message allocating resources of the shared channel for receiving a data unit of a repeat request-type process which is one or more time divided units after a time divided unit in which the control message is transmitted, and the number of repeat request-type processes in the repeating pattern of time divided units is increased from a first number in the first mode to a second number in the second mode.

In this method, the Scheduling Request (SR) of the UEs can be correctly detected in the Pico base station to trigger UL transmission in decoupled UL/DL scenario in various case and any kinds of backhaul can be supported.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, there are provided apparatus, systems and methods for implementing and using optimized control systems for aggregation of multiple broadband connections over radio interfaces. For example, such a system may include: a processor and a memory to perform instructions embodied by the system; a plurality of wireless transceivers; a traffic coordinator to interface to two or more wireless communications nodes together, through the system, in which each of the wireless communications nodes have access to a wide Area Network (WAN) backhaul connection independent of the system; a first wireless communications interface to a first wireless communication node established via a first of the plurality of wireless transceivers, the first wireless communications node having access to a first WAN backhaul connection; a second wireless communications interface to a second wireless communications node established via a second of the plurality of wireless transceivers, the second wireless communications node having access to a second WAN backhaul connection distinct from the first WAN backhaul connection; and a control module to receive information on traffic flows through the system and a radio environment within which the system operates, in which the control module to: issue commands to control the formation and continuation of connections of the first and second wireless communications interfaces to WAN connections and WAN backhaul connections, and to further provide scheduling and routing instructions for the WAN connections and WAN backhaul connections. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A transmitter comprising a power amplifier, a phase modulator, a switched DC-DC converter, all operating in dual mode, and a controller is disclosed. The power amplifier is arranged to selectively operate either in a first mode or in a second mode, wherein the first mode is a linear mode and the second mode is a non-linear mode in order to save power with least increasing cost in hardware. The transmitter is adapted to operate at different allocated bandwidths, for different radio standards while keeping minimum power consumption governed by the controller. A transceiver, a communication device, a method and a computer program are also disclosed.
