Abstract: An agricultural tool includes a wheel body and a flexible tyre with a hollow chamber and an inner surface around this hollow chamber; a circular opening on the chamber; a pair of beads bordering this opening; and a spacer at least partially tubular with two axially opposite end faces. Over one portion corresponding to one of the beads, the inner surface extends frustoconically by widening radially outward of the flexible tyre, and one of the end faces of the spacer has an axially protruding surface. The spacer is placed across the opening of the tyre such that the protruding surface engages the inner surface in an area of the portion corresponding to the bead.

The plurality of pressurized load cells are positioned within the tire cavity. The sleeve member is positioned within the tire cavity and surrounds and constrains the plurality of pressurized load cells.

Abstract: The present invention is a unique tire flap for use on off-road vehicle wheel assemblies utilizing standard safety rims, tires, rim locks, and inner tubes, so that the vehicles can operate in high performance off-road conditions under low or extremely low tire pressures (4psi-10psi), without incurring flats due to a pinched tube. The tire flap of the present invention is made from low density impact absorbent foam, such that the flap absorbs the energy of a first and second type pinch tire condition that prevents the inner tube from rupturing.

Abstract: A vehicle wheel comprising a wheel rim having first and second sidewalls defining a rim trough and an opening extending through a portion of the wheel rim, a tire having a tire bead positioned in the rim trough in engagement with the first sidewall, and a bead lock positioned in the rim trough adjacent the tire bead. The bead lock is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The bead lock includes an actuator positioned in the opening with a portion accessible from outside the rim, and a band positioned in the rim trough with two free ends movable relative to each other and a side edge engaged with the tire bead. The side edge includes a cut out that creates a recessed edge that is not engaged with the tire bead.

The tire retainer has a support body that is disposed between the bead portions of the bicycle tire. The support body has an axial width that is dimensioned such that the bead portions of the bicycle tire are prevented from disengaging from the tire retaining ridges of the wheel rim, respectively, while the bicycle tire is disposed in the annular space.

Abstract: A tire has a carcass reinforcement extending between a pair of opposing bead portions. At least one of the bead portions terminates axially to the outside by a tip and is intended to be mounted on a wheel rim having a bead seat that has an axially outer end closer to the axis of rotation than the axially inner end thereof. Within the bead portion is a bead ring. The radial carcass reinforcement ply is anchored in each bead portion and has at least one terminal end located in the bead portions. In the bead portion, the reinforcement ply passes radially inward of the bead ring and along the axially outer side of an adjacent rubber component and terminates at a terminal end. The terminal end is axially spaced from the downturn portion of the ply, preferably the axial spacing is equal to or greater than the bead width.
