Abstract: A lock box assembly includes a shell with one or more partitions defining one or more openings. Compartments are connected to the shell in the one or more openings. The compartments are capable of being rotated about an axis of rotation from a closed to open position in order to receive keys or other items to be deposited and later retrieved. A single axle is inserted through holes in each compartment and through holes in each partition and side panels of the shell to secure the compartments in the lock box assembly.

Abstract: Provided is a storage container including a base and a cartridge container attachable to the base. The cartridge container defines a plurality of internal chambers and includes a plurality of individually operable doors, each of the plurality of doors corresponding to one of the internal chambers. The storage container further includes a plurality of individually addressable actuators disposed in at least one of the base and the cartridge container, each of the plurality of actuators corresponding to one of the doors. A microprocessor is programmed or configured to receive at least one instruction from a server computer, and transmit a command, based on the at least one instruction, to actuate one of the plurality of actuators. Actuating one of the plurality of actuators causes the corresponding door to move from a closed position to an opened position. Systems and methods are provided for remote and immediate dispensing of articles.

Abstract: A locker assembly insert 10 for a cabinet 11. The cabinet 11 is a two door cabinet having a first door 12 and a second door 13. A central mullion 19 having a rear cover plate divides the cabinet 11 down the middle and the doors 12 and 13 close the cabinet. The locker assembly insert 10 in this case is applied to a two door cabinet and has a central support member 20 (which is put in place by first removing the rear cover plate behind the central mullion 19, the rear cover plate is tucked in behind the central support member 20 before assembly allowing it to be reused if the refrigerator is ever restored to its original condition). The insert is completed using vertical divider sets 27, 28 and 29 and ten door locker door assemblies 30 and 31.

Thus, the retrieval unit retrieves the items in the storage unit. The retrieval unit is selectively aligned with the drawer to deposit the items in the drawer. Thus, the items may be removed from the safe.

Abstract: A door assembly including a frame with an opening having a first portion and a second portion. The door assembly includes a first panel movable between a closed position in which the first panel generally covers the first portion of the opening and an open position in which the first panel generally does not cover the first portion. The door assembly has a second panel movable between a closed position in which the second panel generally covers the second portion of the opening and an open position in which the second panel generally does not cover the second portion. The second panel is configured to block the first panel from moving to its open position when the second panel is in its closed position. The door assembly further includes a controller operatively coupled to the second panel to selectively block or enable movement of the second panel from its closed position to its open position or from its open position to its closed position.

Abstract: Provided is a temporary secure storage system for firearms. The system is designed to provide convenient, secure storage of handguns. A number of storage containers employing electronic locking mechanisms are stored within a secure facility. Customers can rent a storage container for a predetermined period of time, during which firearms and accoutrement are kept within an individually locked container. Biometric scanners, card readers, and PIN keypads are examples of the types of authenticators used on each storage container to ensure that only the owner gains access to the contents.
