摘要： Smart, rollable, mini-pallet cargo container system comprising robust, auditable, secure, sealable, lockable, trackable and pollable, universal, half/quarter-sized boxes particularly useful for moving highly valuable or sensitive, personal, political, military or commercial materials, embodiments include truly verifiable ballot boxes, verifiably secure moving containers. Blast attenuation inserts are disclosed. The boxes include electronic locks containing event memory, sensors and alarms, and RF communications and GPS locator module(s) that radio to a base station the time, location and status of the inventive box, and anomalous events as they occur, including unauthorized attempts to open or break into the container, or potential damage events. In addition, both the locks and comm modules are programmable, and provide extensive, and selectably pollable and down-loadable, printable event, access and transport history and audit trails. The comm system permits remote tracking and real time status check via the Internet, LAN or WAN wireless networks.

摘要： An apparatus comprising a seat structure for two people with a trunk for the safekeeping of valuables within the open-topped cargo compartment of a truck is disclosed. The trunk occupies the entire area underneath the seat structure. The apparatus is designed to be secured removably to either opposite side walls or the front wall of said cargo compartment. The seat structure has reclinable backrests which can be releasably locked in different reclined orientations to secure against theft items outside said trunk but within said cargo compartment. The seat structure can also be turned and releasably locked in different positions so that its occupants face either the rear or the front of the truck, without having to move the trunk underneath. The apparatus has wheels and guide rails to facilitate its movement back and forth, as well as its attachment to different securing locations within the cargo compartment. The apparatus is specially designed to allow one person to seat comfortably while another person has access to the contents of the trunk, including those contents underneath the person sitting down.

摘要： A cargo transportation system comprising secure (fully closeable and lockable), sealable, stackable, trackable, universal, auto-latching “pallet boxes” that may be used in two main ways: 1) secured to the undercarriage transverse I-beams of over-the-road semi-trailers by means of loading alignment and hanger assemblies that provide positive locking-in-place; and 2) stackable, up to three or more high, inside the trailer bodies. The inventive pallet boxes are designed to be secured by auto-latching hanger assemblies that are retrofittable on individual types of semi-trailer undercarriages, both US and metric (European, Central and South American, and Asian) standard dimensions. The pallet boxes include vertical sidewall load-bearing channel members permitting stacking fully-loaded pallet boxes three or more high. The pallet boxes may be refrigerated, insulated, or atmospherically controlled, e.g., chargeable with preservative, security or disinfecting gases, during shipping.

摘要： The present invention entails a removable modular security enclosure for the internal cargo area of prisoner transport vans where each compartment within the security enclosure is defined by an interconnection of four walls and a roof panel. Any of the components defining the enclosure may be comprised of multiple interconnected sections. Sections and components of the enclosure are interconnected by such means as fasteners or interlocking devices. The walls of the enclosure are connected to the floor of the van where said floor serves as the floor of the enclosure. Access to a compartment is provided by a securable port in one of the defining walls. Benches may be provided along the walls inside the enclosure. When the security enclosure is composed of two separate compartments, a common wall may be used where the two compartments are in contact. Any compartment may also be provided with an adjustable vertical partition for dividing the compartment into two smaller subcompartments. A locking device between the partition and another component of the compartment serves to fix the position of the partition. A partition or any of the components defining a compartment may be constructed to allow at least partial translucency into or between compartments.

摘要： A mobile device suitable for permitting banking transactions and a material for constructing such units. The mobile banking device includes a housing mounted on a platform extending upward therefrom. The outer housing defines an interior area sufficient to accommodate ingress and egress of appropriate service personnel. The device includes at least one customer transaction interface unit such as an ATM device mounted in one of the walls and accessible from the exterior of the outer housing. The mobile device also includes at least one set of wheels attached to the platform and extending downward therefrom and a suitable device for emitting discernable evidence of unauthorized breaches in the outer security of the housing such as an audible or inaudible alarm. The outer housing can be constructed from a material first and second planar layers composed of a polymeric resin positioned a spaced parallel distance from one another and an intermediate polymeric sheet interposed between the two planar layers. The intermediate polymeric sheet has a plurality of convolutions extending laterally therethrough and defines a plurality of enclosed voids therebetween. A plurality of rods are located in various interior spaces to reinforce the wall construction.

摘要： A pre-fabricated kit for the assembly of a portable prisoner module which is adaptable to use in a conventional van-type vehicle. The kit comprises a series of panels which, when assembled in such a vehicle, forms a box-like container with visual communication between the interior of the container and the van drivers compartment and a rear door unit providing ingress to and egress from the interior of the container. The kit contains two door units, one with a single door and the other with dual side by side doors and a divider for use with the latter. When the divider and the dual-door unit are utilized, the module is divided into two compartments to which access is permitted selectively and individually.

摘要： Methods of installing bulletproof front and/or rear windshields of an armored automobile are disclosed. A first method involves rebuilding the window frame of the automobile, installing the bulletproof windshield, then recontouring the surface of the automobile adjacent the rebuilt window frame so the automobile again appears to an observer to be an ordinary automobile. A second method involves removing the standard windshields from an ordinary automobile, refitting the automobile with a mechanism having a lip of sufficient depth to retain a bulletproof windshield, inserting a bulletproof windshield and subsequently restoring the outer surface of the automobile adjacent the window frame to the profile of an ordinary automobile.
