    Abstract: One example system for providing virtual meeting room content monitoring for a host of a videoconference includes a processor and at least one memory device. The memory device includes instructions that can cause the processor to establish a videoconferencing session having a first virtual meeting room. The processor receives a control input from a host subscribed to the first virtual meeting room at a host client device. The control input indicates that the host is to monitor the meeting room content from one or more additional virtual meeting rooms. The instructions further cause the processor to, responsive to the control input from the host, cause the meeting room content of at least one of the additional virtual meeting rooms to be displayed on the host client device while the host is subscribed to the first virtual meeting room.

    Abstract: One disclosed example system includes a reception room meeting device configured for establishing a video conference with a device associated with a remote receptionist. The reception room meeting device sends a request for a video meeting with one of a plurality of candidate remote receptionists in response to receiving an activation signal triggered by a visitor to a reception area, and establishes the video meeting with a device associated with one remote receptionist selected based on the request. The system further includes a virtual receptionist system configured to access visitor data obtained by various input devices at the reception area, and determine the status of the visitor based on the visitor data. The virtual receptionist system further transmits the status of the visitor to the device associated with the selected remote receptionist to facilitate the check-in process.

    Abstract: A screen control method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: in a case that a screen of multi-party video communication is displayed, receiving a first input by a first user; and in response to the first input, establishing a first communication connection between a first electronic device and a second electronic device. Both the first electronic device and the second electronic device are electronic devices participating in the multi-party video communication. The first communication connection is used to transmit a control instruction of the second electronic device on a screen display content of the first electronic device.     Abstract: Methods and systems for assembling and monitoring remote students in an online academic environment are provided, the monitoring including an electronic proctor that determines whether meeting criteria are met. The method includes a use of the system to filter a subpopulation from a population stored in a database, the population including students in the self-paced, online environment. The subpopulation can be selected to meet a first set of criteria for a grouping of students for a group interaction. Additional criteria can be added to provide control over the selection of students for the subpopulation and, thus, control over the design of groups to provide a desired group profile for the group interaction. The methods and systems provided can align and group students of the self-paced, online environment for a group interaction, as well as electronically proctor and otherwise monitor and control the interaction.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing a tailored meeting-video segment associated with a meeting-video management engine of a meeting-video management system. The tailored meeting-video segment corresponds to a portion of meeting-video content that is programmatically generated based on features associated with video data, meeting data, and user data. A tailored meeting-video segment—or a plurality of tailored meeting-video segments—can be generated by employing a meeting-video tailoring machine learning model of the meeting-video management engine. In particular, the features—associated with video data comprising the plurality of clips, meeting data of the meeting, and user data of the user—are meeting-video tailoring features used by the meeting-video tailoring machine learning model to generate the tailored meeting-video segment. The tailored meeting-video segment is communicated to a user to enable uniquely tailored presentation and playback of meeting-video content computed to be relevant to the user via the meeting-video management engine.
