摘要： An arbor mounted disc adjusting apparatus includes a tube that has a first end, a second end and a perimeter wall. The perimeter wall has a pair of elongated breaks therein extending through the first and second ends to partition the tube into a first section and a second section. A coupler retains the first and second sections together in a tubular configuration. An actuation assembly is mechanically coupled to the first and second sections to selectively move the first and second sections toward or away from each other. A plurality of separator discs is mounted on the tube so that the tube extends through the discs. The discs are movable on the tube when the first and second sections abut each other and are retained in place by friction between the discs and the tube when the first and second sections are moved apart from each other.

摘要： A roller conveyor is described that includes a frame with spaced, parallel side rails; a plurality of parallel driven rollers, each roller having shaft ends extending through the rails; a shaft pulley affixed to the one shaft end outside of a given rail; a rotary drive means including a rotatable drive pulley mounted outside the given rail; and connector means operably connecting the drive pulley to the shaft pulleys, whereby rotation of the drive means rotates the driven rollers. The drive means can be an electric motor mounted beneath the driven rollers or a motorized drive roller in a plane with the other rollers. One of the rollers can be deflectable downwardly by objects conveyed on the conveyor, with the state of a switch being changed when the roller is deflected.

摘要： Conveyor rolls used in high temperature applications, and an end cap assembly for such rolls. The conveyor roll comprises a ceramic spool, an end cap and a tolerance ring. The end cap contains a metal ferrule and has an internal circumference adapted to fit over an end of the ceramic spool. A tolerance ring is interposed between each end of the ceramic spool and the end cap. The tolerance ring is composed of resilient metal having a plurality of circumferentially arranged corrugations. The conveyor roll can resist temporary overheating or blockage without damage.
