摘要: In order to ensure consistently good maceration of biological material in an electroporation reactor, it is proposed to monitor the conductivity of the mixture therein and to detect any arcing which occurs therein. The results of such monitoring are used to modify the operating voltage of the electroporation reactor and/or the composition of the mixture located in the reactor channel.

摘要: A method for hardening a coating of an object, more particularly a car body. A conveyor system moves the object to the proximity of a radiator and moves it away from said radiator with at least one transport cart that can be translationally moved on at least one running surface. A support frame for the object is fixed to the transport cart in order to rotate or pivot the object about a rotational or pivoting axis extending crosswise relative to the translational movement and independently thereof so that all areas of the surface can be exposed to approximately the same amount of radiation.

摘要: An apparatus for air treatment includes at least one reservoir which can be filled with a liquid, an air-conveying device and a device which ensures that for the treatment of the air to be treated the air comes into contact with at least a part of the liquid. A circulating device is provided, by which liquid in the reservoir is conveyed in a circuit out of the reservoir and back into the latter. For the purpose of sterilising the liquid, a device for mechanico-physical opening of cell membranes, for instance by electroporation or cavitation, is provided in the circuit. Such an apparatus can also be used for purifying exhaust air in a surface treatment installation.

摘要: The invention relates to a device (10) for hardening an UV varnish and thermohardening varnish or the similar for coating an object, in particular a motor car body (12) comprising at least one emitter (48, 48″) generating electromagnetic radiation. The inventive device is provided with a conveying system (14, 16) which conveys the object (12) closely to the emitter (48, 48″) and, afterwards removes it. Said conveying system comprises an overhead travelling carriage (16) which is translatory displaceable along at least one guideway (14) suspended above at least one emitter (48, 48″). Two suspension supports (66) extending downwards and making it possible to suspend the object (12) are arranged successively in a longitudinal direction (85) on a chassis (50) of the travelling carriage (16). The length of said suspension supports is individually modifiable with the aid of a motor.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for hardening a coating of an object, more particularly a car body (12), said coating consisting of UV paint, a thermally hardening paint or the like. The device comprises at least one radiator (58, 60a, 60b, 62a, 62b) producing electromagnetic radiation. A conveyor system (14, 16, 46) that moves the object (12) to the proximity of the radiator (58, 60a, 60b, 62a, 62b) and moves it away from said radiator is also provided. The conveyor system (14, 16) comprises a lifting car (46; 461) with a running gear (50) having a lift platform (54) for receiving the object (12), whose height relative to the running gear (50) can be adjusted by means of a motor. The at least one radiator (58, 60a, 60b, 62a, 62b) is arranged in such a manner that the lifting car (46; 461) and the object (12) located thereon can be guided through under the at least one radiator (58, 60a, 60b, 62a, 62b), wherein the vertical position of the object (12) can be changed. This makes it possible to also place objects (12) with very uneven and three-dimensionally curved surfaces in the irradiation area of the radiator (58, 60a, 60b, 62a, 62b) in such a way that the surfaces are evenly exposed to the amount and intensity of radiation required for hardening.

摘要: A method for separating overspray from the cabin exhaust air of coating systems, in particular of painting systems, which is laden with overspray, the overspray is taken up by an air flow and conveyed to an electrostatically operating separating device. There, the bulk at least of the solids is separated from the overspray at at least one separating surface. An electrically conductive material or material mixture is used as a separating agent, which is applied to the at least one separating surface of the separating device and at the operating temperature of the separating device has a wax-like consistency. Also a separating device with such a wax-like material and a system for coating articles.

摘要: A device for separating overspray from the cabin exhaust air of painting systems includes at least one separating surface, on which the exhaust air is guided and which is connected to a pole of a high voltage source. An electrode device arranged in the air stream is associated with the separating surface and connected to the other pole of the high voltage source. The separated paint overspray is transported away from the separating surface with a separating fluid, which flows over the separating surface-from top to bottom. A discharge device having a channel open at the top is present, from which the separating fluid exits along the longitudinal extension of the discharge device when the level of the separating fluid in the channel exceeds an exit level, and reaches the separating surface such that the separating fluid flows downward on the separating surface as a substantially adhering layer.

摘要: What is described is a process and an installation for drying articles, in particular painted vehicle bodies, in which the articles are moved through a drying zone in which they are hardened in an inert-gas atmosphere. Inert gas is taken from the drying zone constantly or intermittently and is first of all conducted along a first face which is at a first temperature at which higher-boiling contaminants condense out. The condensate that forms in the process is discharged. After that, the inert gas which has been pre-cleaned in this way is conducted along at least one second face which is at a lower temperature than the first face. Lower-boiling contaminants are precipitated at this point. These condensates, too, are then discharged. This process and installation work more favorably, energy-wise, and with higher cleaning efficiency than known processes and installations of a similar type.
