摘要： A railway rail fastening apparatus has a baseplate for receiving a railway rail to be fastened thereto and baseplate securing elements for securing the baseplate to a baseplate seat area of a concrete railway foundation. The baseplate securing elements carry first and second fastening assemblies configured for location on the concrete rail foundation on opposite sides of the baseplate seat area. Each of the first and second fastening assemblies including fixing member having a first part that extends from the baseplate member for retention within the concrete rail foundation. Only the fixing member of one fastening assembly includes a screw-threaded fastener.

摘要： A rail-tie fastening assembly for fastening a rail to a concrete tie comprising a rail seat assembly and a rail anchor. The rail seat assembly includes a rail seat basin and a rail seat wherein the rail seat is disposed in the rail seat basin and bonded thereto with an elastomeric material having a void formed therein between the bottom of the rail seat and the bottom of the rail seat basin so as to produce a shear spring which transfers applied vertical load from the rail to the tie. The rail seat assembly is embedded in the tie and the rail anchor is adapted to engage a portion of the rail and to interlock with the rail seat assembly so as to cooperate with the rail seat assembly to fasten the rail to the tie.

摘要： A rail-support insulating device for electrically insulating a rapid transit rail and rail fastener from the rail support structure is described. The device includes an electrically non-conductive member that surrounds and extends outwardly from the rail fastener and over its support structure. Also a pair of planar disc members of similar material extend around and outwardly from the heads of the mounting bolts for the rail fastener, thereby forming long surface electrical creepage paths between the rail and the rail support that provide electrical isolation even when the entire assembly of rail fastener and rail support is wet with electrolyte.

摘要： A rail fastening assembly and sleepers and spring clips for use in such an assembly are provided by the invention. The assembly includes a sleeper having rail locating recesses in its operatively upper surface and sockets in the sides thereof and extending in the general direction of a rail supported thereon. Spring clips of a generally arcuate shape have a spigot received within an associated socket and a rail engaging formation at its other end. Each spring clip is thus enclosed in its socket and held under tension in the operative position such that the rail is held firmly onto the sleeper. The sockets are located on or inside of a line at right angles to the rail foot surface with which the clip co-operates such that the clip must be placed in further tension to release it and the tendency is for it to move in a direction favoring tighter engagement with the rail.

摘要： A rail clip assembly comprises a body for overlying a portion of a rail and for overlying an adjacent portion of a rail support means, the body having a first surface for abutment with a lateral face of the rail and an aperture for receiving means for securing the body to the rail support means, the aperture being elongate in a direction inclined at an acute angle to the direction of extent of the rail, and securing means including a first securing member for overlying the body and having an aperture therein for alignment with the aperture in the body and for receiving a second securing member which extends therethrough and through the elongate aperture in the body, the first securing member having a surface which in use abuts a second surface of the body in all positions of the body relative to the securing means for transmitting laterally directed forces applied by the rail to the body from the body to the first securing member, the second surface of the body extending in a plane inclined to the rail support means surface and parallel to the direction of elongation of the aperture, the second surface facing away from the first surface.

摘要： A railway track in which a rail is supported within a groove of a rail bed. The groove has outwardly sloping shoulders each spaced from the sides of the rail. Continuous clamps extend along each side of the rail. The clamps are secured by spaced apart hold-down assemblies positioned vertically between the clamps and the respective sloping shoulders to secure the track against both vertical and lateral movement. Elastic material pads completely isolate a rail from both the bed and the clamps.

摘要： The device comprises a metal fastener which bears against the flange of the rail and against the rail support. An insulating element is combined with the fastener for insulating the fastener from the support and insulating the fastener from a fixing bolt which extends through an aperture in the fastener and is anchored in the rail support. The insulating element is in one piece and comprises a planar branch having an aperture for the passage of the fixing means and a loop portion which is so shaped as to ensure the elastic mounting of the insulating element on the fastener and to be interposed between the fastener and the support.

摘要： The device comprises, for anchoring each T-shaped fixing bolt in a concrete element, a passageway opening onto an outer face of the element and extended by a cavity which allows rotation of the head of the bolt through 90.degree.. A longitudinal reinforcement which is parallel to the outer face is located at a short distance from the outer face and near to the inner end of the passageways. The reinforcement has in the region of each passageway an opening for the passage of the head of the fixing bolt when this head extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the reinforcement. Two retaining surfaces adjoining the opening retain the head of the bolt when it is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the reinforcement. Arch-shaped members are fixed to the surface of the reinforcement which is adjacent the outer face of the concrete element and have inclined branches which extend into the concrete in a direction opposed to the outer face to a sufficient depth to distribute the forces within the concrete element.

摘要： A pad for interposition between the bottom of a railway rail and a rail foundation upon which the rail stands is a single piece of elastomeric material in the form of a substantially rectangular sheet with substantially rectangular cut-outs at the center of two opposite sides and chamfering of at least the upper major face at the other two opposite sides. In a rail and fastening assembly projections which extend upwardly from the rail foundation, and are engaged by means holding the rail down, lie partly in the cut-outs and impede movement of the pad along the rail.
