摘要: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method and a data transmission apparatus. The method includes: obtaining, by an access management network element, information about a connection status of a terminal device in a first network; and processing, by the access management network element, a data transmission procedure of the terminal device in a second network based on the information about the connection status of the terminal device in the first network. When the terminal device needs to transmit data through both the two networks, the method in the embodiments of this application can avoid a problem that the terminal device overuses a resource in either of the networks.

摘要: A method for processing resource, a communication system, and a mobility management network element are provided. The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management network element in a packet switched (PS) network, a Release Request message sent by an access network of the PS network or a Handoff Complete message sent by a circuit switched (CS) network when a user equipment (UE) is handed over from the PS network to the CS network; and processing, by the mobility management network element of the PS network, resources of the UE in the PS network. Thus, the processing of resources of the UE in the PS network is achieved when the UE is handed over from the PS network to the CS network. A communication system and a mobility management network element are also provided.

摘要: According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for supporting a user equipment (UE) handover of a target (T)-access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving a UE context creation request message from a source (S)-AMF, wherein the UE context creation request message includes packet data unit (PDU) session identifiers (ID) as a handover target and single (S)-network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) corresponding to each PDU session ID; determining whether the corresponding S-NSSAI is valid in the T-AMF; and sending, to a session management function (SMF), a PDU session update session management (SM) context request message only for a PDU session ID that corresponds to the S-NSSAI determined to be valid according to the determination result, out of the PDU session IDs.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media are provided for managing connected data transfer sessions in a computing network. A controller included in the computing network can monitor connected data transfer sessions to determine whether a predetermined threshold has been met or exceeded and, if so, terminate at least one connected data transfer session in the computing network. The threshold can include a threshold number of connected data communication sessions and/or a threshold amount of resources utilized by the connected data communication sessions. The controller can terminate connected data transfer sessions until the total number of connected data communication sessions and/or threshold amount of resources falls below the threshold.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a call termination method, an application processor, and a modem. In this solution, the application processor receives a hang-up instruction and sends a first message to the modem according to the hang-up instruction, where the first message is used to trigger the modem to directly terminate a call. The modem may terminate the call in a timely manner according to the first message. Therefore, a time consumed in call termination is reduced and efficiency is improved.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and systems for configuring service of a user equipment device (UE). When the UE has dual-connectivity service, such as EN-DC service, poor quality on one of the UE's air-interface connections could result in transition of the UE to single-connectivity service. To address technological issues that may arise in this process, one of the UE's serving Node-Bs (NBs) could control teardown of an access bearer homed to the other of the UE's serving NBs. Further or alternatively, a control-plane signaling path that is homed to one of the UE's serving NBs could be replaced with a control-plane signaling path instead homed to the other of the UE's serving NBs. In addition, in appropriate circumstances, when such reconfiguration occurs, service of the UE could be switched from one core network to another.

摘要: A mobility management node in A core network receives a first Non Access Stratum (NAS) message via a second network element from a user equipment (UE), wherein the mobility management node stores a first identifying characteristic associated with at least one of a Local IP Access (LIPA) packet data network (PDN) connection or a selected IP traffic offload (SIPTO) PDN connection, the at least one of the LIPA PDN connection or the SIPTO PDN connection being via a first network element and for the UE. The mobility management node detects that the UE is connected to the second network element that is different from the first network element that has the first identifying characteristic, and in response to a condition that each PDN connection of the UE is a LIPA PDN connection or a SIPTO PDN connection, sends a second NAS message, the second NAS message including a cause code with a value that represents “No EPS Bearer Context Activated.”
