摘要: An apparatus for clogging blood vessels of an eye fundus includes an illuminating optical system (1) for illuminating an eye fundus of a subject, who has been given an injection of an infrared fluorescent agent, with infrared rays of light and exciting the infrared fluorescent agent so as to generate infrared fluorescence, a photographic optical system (2) for observing and photographing the eye fundus, and a projecting optical system (21) for projecting a laser beam of light having a specific wavelength onto the subject who has been also given an injection of a photosensitive substance which undergoes a photochemical change by the laser beam. In the apparatus, while a region which emits infrared fluorescence is being observed, the laser beam is projected onto the photosensitive substance so as to clog blood vessels of a diseased part in the depth of the eye fundus.

摘要: A relay part is housed in a case, a fuse mounting part is provided above the relay part in the case and a fuse is attached/detached to/from the fuse mounting part from above the case. In the case, provided are an internal cover and a bus bar supporting resin body, which cover the periphery of the relay part. A drainage channel is provided in outer surfaces of the internal cover and the bus bar supporting resin body. In addition, a drainage hole which drains water flowing through the drainage channel to the outside of the case is provided in the case. The drainage channel includes an upper groove which is formed in an upper surface of the bus bar supporting resin body and has an inclined surface on its bottom and a side groove which is communicated with a lowest portion of the inclined surface of the upper groove and is formed on a side of the internal cover.

摘要: The invention is directed to the provision of a device and method for measurement of angle of rotation for measuring in a non-contacting fashion the concentration of an optically active substance such as a sugar, amino acid, vitamin, or the like dissolved in a sample. According to the invention, A coherent beam is split into two beams, one being an object beam and the other being a reference beam, the object beam passed through the sample is converted by a quarter wave plate into mutually perpendicular polarization components having therebetween a phase difference proportional to the angle of rotation produced by the sample, and the angle of rotation produced by the sample is obtained from the phase difference occurring between beat signals produced by causing the object beam with the reference beam. Alternatively, a coherent beam is directed into the sample, the beam passed through the sample is converted by a quarter wave plate into mutually perpendicular polarization components having therebetween a phase difference proportional to the angle of rotation produced by the sample, and the angle of rotation produced by the sample is measured based on the phase of a beat signal produced by causing the mutually perpendicular polarization components to interfere with each other by means of a polarizer.

摘要: A method and apparatus for providing speech control to a graphical user interface (GUI) divide a GUI into a plurality of screen areas; assign the screen areas priorities; receive a first audio input relating to the selection of one of the objects in the interface; determine the one of the screen areas having the highest priority and including a first object matching the first audio input; and select the first object in the determined screen area if the determined screen area only contains one object matching the first audio input. The method and apparatus also select one of the objects that matches the first audio input in the determined screen area if the determined screen area contains more than one object that matches the first audio input.
