Provided with a method of and circuit for automatically selecting a signal without using a separate signal selecting switch and for displaying the content of the signal by way of OSD (On Screen Display), the circuit including: a D-sub connector for transmitting a D-sub synchronous signal applied from a D-sub signal cable; a BNC connector for transmitting video signals and synchronous signals applied from a computer via a BNC signal cable; a selector for selecting one of the signals applied from the two connectors in response to a switching signal; and a microcomputer receptive to the BNC/D-sub signal transferred from the selector, and sending a control signal for selecting the BNC/D-sub signal to the selector according to the presence of the synchronous signals and DPMS state.
Abstract:
A circuit for inhibiting a transition phenomenon in a power supply unit is disclosed. When the power supply mode is shifted, a transition phenomenon is made not to appear in the operating power supplied to the load. The circuit includes a microcomputer which judges as to the presence or absence of horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals supplied from the computer system so as to vary the power in a stepwise form when shifting the power supply mode. In accordance with control signals of the microcomputer, a feedback level adjusting section reduces the error detected voltage in a stepwise form when the power is fed back from a second rectifying section through an error detecting section to a pulse width modulator (PWM) control section. Therefore, in accordance with the stepwisely decreasing error detected voltage, the pulse width modulator (PWM) control section reduces its output signals in a stepwise form, so that the power supplied to the load can be reduced in a stepwise form.

A full erase head assembly for erasing a signal recorded on a tape includes a full erase head, a guide post installed on a deck base for guiding the tape, a guide portion formed on a first side of the full erase head, the guide portion being supported by the guide post, and a locking mechanism formed on a second side of the full erase head and coupled to the deck base, the locking mechanism preventing the full erase head from separating from the deck base.

An automatic beam current control circuit for a multimode monitor provides a high voltage circuit for regulating its output voltage according to a video signal being applied to a cathode ray tube, a luminance data compensator having an analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion port for receiving the output voltage of a feedback signal from the high voltage circuit and using a microprocessor to compare data converted by the analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion port with reference luminance data stored in a memory to thereby output an automatic beam current control value, and an automatic beam current controller for receiving the automatic beam current control value and automatically adjusting beam current provided to the cathode ray tube. A method for automatically controlling beam current in the multimode monitor includes the steps of performing mode detection by checking the horizontal or vertical synchronization signal of the multimode monitor, reading the preset luminance data for the relevant operational mode from the memory, reading present luminance data from the high voltage circuit, and performing luminance data compensation by comparing the preset luminance data and the present luminance data, adjusting the present luminance data to equal the preset luminance data, and automatically outputting the compensated present luminance data to the automatic beam current controller.

Provided are a field effect transistor, a method of manufacturing the same, and an electronic device including the field effect transistor. The field effect transistor may have a structure in which a double gate field effect transistor and a recess channel array transistor are formed in a single transistor in order to improve a short channel effect which occurs as field effect transistors become more highly integrated, a method of manufacturing the same, and an electronic device including the field effect transistor. The field effect transistor can exhibit stable device characteristics even when more highly integrated in such a manner that both the length and width of a channel increase and particularly the channel can be significantly long, and can be manufactured simply.
