Abstract:
An encryption and decryption interface for integrated circuit (IC) design with design-for-manufacturing (DFM). The interface includes a decryption module embedded in an IC design tool; an encrypted DFM data provided to an IC designer authorized for utilizing the encrypted DFM data; and a private key provided to the IC designer for decrypting the encrypted DFM data in the IC design tool.
Abstract:
This invention discloses a stacked flash memory chip package and a method for the stacked flash memory chip package. A first flash memory chip is mounted on a substrate, in which the first flash memory chip has an inactive surface for adhering to the substrate and a number of bond pads are all disposed on one side of an active surface of the flash memory chip. Then, a second flash memory chip is mounted over the first flash memory chip in a non-alignment manner so that the second flash memory chip shields part of the active surface of the first flash memory chip and that the bond pads of first flash memory chip are exposed. Then, the bond pads of the first flash memory chip and the bond pads of the second flash memory chip are respectively connected to the circuit of the substrate by wire bonding.
Abstract:
A fool-proof mechanism for memory card is presented, in which an asymmetrically configured insertion end of a memory card is provided to ensure that no incorrect insertion of the memory card will be done; and a length or height gradient of circuit's contact produced according to an asymmetric arcuate or curved alignment of a plurality of circuit's contacts will create a contact time difference between contacts of different circuit's contacts with corresponding contact terminals for application in design of specific circuits.
Abstract:
An enhanced electronic card structure includes a circuit board, a top cover board, and a bottom cover board. The circuit board has multiple front front and rear contact points. At least one fixing hole is defined between any two adjacent front contact points. The top cover board has a front edge defined therein multiple gaps, each aligned with one front contact point and corresponding rear contact point. Any two adjacent gaps are separated by a rib, each rib having a bottom face extended thereform a fixing tip aligned with the fixing hole. The bottom cover board has a surface formed thereon multiple fixing joints, each aligned with one fixing tip at the bottom of the rib, so as to make the fixing tip pass through the corresponding fixing hole to be fixed to the corresponding fixing joint.
Abstract:
A memory card casing includes a plastic framework, and upper and lower metal covers that could be conveniently assembled to two sides of the plastic framework. The metal covers are fastened to each other via fastening means spaced on perpendicular wall portions of the metal covers. Each of the fastening means includes first and second fastening plates. The plastic framework is provided with retaining means, each of which includes a neck portion inward projected from and perpendicular to inner wall surface of the plastic framework and an expanded head portion in front of the neck portion. When the two metal covers are closed onto two sides of the plastic framework, the second fastening plates are located in recesses defined by the first fastening plates with tongues provided on the first fastening plates extended through retaining holes defined by the second fastening plates to firmly hold the two fastening plates together, and the neck portions are confined in holes defined by spaces on the wall portions of the metal covers between any two adjacent fastening plates to prevent the expanded head portions and, accordingly, the whole plastic framework from separating from the closed metal covers.
Abstract:
Torque is generated by the rotating front road wheel of a motorcycle for balance. When the vehicle is traveling too slowly, too little torque is generated for adequate balance, and when the vehicle is traveling too quickly, too much torque is generated for safe maneuvering. A torque compensator for a motorcycle thus includes a sensor for detecting the angular momentum of the road wheel. The detected angular momentum is compared to a predetermined optimal angular momentum by a comparator. An electric flywheel attached to the steering fork of the motorcycle is driven at a variable speed to generate a compensating angular momentum equal to the difference between the angular momentum of the road wheel and the optimal angular momentum. When the angular momentum of the road wheel is below the optimum, the flywheel is driven in the same direction as the road wheel to provide supplemental momentum, so that the sum of their momentums is equal to the optimal angular momentum. When the angular momentum of the road wheel exceeds the optimum, the flywheel is driven in the opposite direction as the road wheel to provide a counteracting momentum, so that the sum of their momentums is still equal to the optimal angular momentum. Thus the combined torque of the road wheel and flywheel is always optimized for the best stability and steering response throughout the entire speed range of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A vertical turbine comprising a blade control mechanism including a sun gear engaging a plurality of planetary gears each coupled to blade assemblies. The sun gear has at least half circumference of its teeth removed, as the turbine receives maximum downstream torque in the circumference with teeth and it leaves blades free to rotate in the circumference without teeth for minimum upstream drag. The turbine converts the rotational blades into parallel movement and unidirectional propulsion with minimum turbulence.
