Abstract: A building monitoring system includes a sensor configured to sense a condition and collect sensor data related to the sensed condition. The building monitoring system also includes a server configured to receive the sensor data. The server is configured to analyze the sensor data to detect an undesirable condition and a threat from the undesirable condition within a structure and automatically issue a notification upon detection of the undesirable condition and the threat.

Abstract: A system includes a first sensor configured to identify information regarding an emergency condition associated with a structure and a second sensor configured to identify an occupancy pattern regarding the structure. The system also includes a processor operatively coupled to the first sensor, the second sensor, and a transceiver. The processor is configured to determine a severity of the emergency condition based at least in part on the information regarding the emergency condition and prioritize rescues within the structure based at least in part on the occupancy pattern. The system also includes the transceiver which is configured to transmit an identification of the emergency condition, a location of the structure, the occupancy pattern, the prioritization of rescues, and the severity of the emergency condition.

A trailing edge of the digital signal is determined. An analog signal from the sensing device is read, where the analog signal includes an output from a sensor included in the sensing device, and where the sensor is configured to detect an aspect of an environment. The analog signal is read after the trailing edge of the digital signal.

The recording device within the inside space can include a transceiver configured to receive sensed data from one or more sensory nodes and from a commercial panel of a building, a memory configured to store the data received by the transceiver, and a processor operatively coupled to the transceiver and the memory. The processor can be configured to publish the sensed data such that the sensed data is accessible to a first responder.
