Abstract: Delivery parcel detection systems can include a doorbell having a first wireless communication system and a parcel holding system configured for placement in an entryway. The doorbell can be communicatively coupled to the parcel holding system. The parcel holding system can comprise a sensor configured to detect a delivery parcel located on the parcel holding system. Systems can include a first communication sent from the parcel holding system to the doorbell in response to the parcel holding system detecting an arrival, a movement, or a removal of the delivery parcel. Systems can also include a second communication sent from the doorbell to a remote computing device in response to the doorbell receiving the first communication.

Abstract: A method of operating a doorbell system can include receiving, by a remote computing device, a notification of an emergency event and in response to the receiving, illuminating at least one light of a doorbell to indicate an occurrence of the emergency event. The method can further include, in response to receiving the notification, initiating a communication with an emergency dispatcher and/or an emergency contact. The at least one light can illuminate in a variety of colors and illumination patterns corresponding to the type of emergency event.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a community security system capable of monitoring multiple, generally adjacent, consecutive private security areas to confirm human activity and engage sensory alerts. The community security system includes at least two private security areas having the capability of being networked together to enable information sharing. Each private security area is monitored by a private security system and contains one or more detection devices for monitoring and detecting activity occurring within the boundaries of the private security area. Information detected by detection devices within the private security areas can then communicate with other detection devices within the private security area or with the community security system to confirm activity, track activity across adjacent boundaries, engage sensory alerts and notify community members or authorities, as needed.

Abstract: A method of configuring a white LED light with a tunable diffused light color temperature, includes using a light-emitting unit configured with a first LED load emitting light with a first color temperature between 1800K and 3000K and a second LED load emitting light with a second color temperature between 4000K and 6500K, electrically connected in parallel; using a light diffuser to cover the first LED load and the second LED load to create a diffused light with a diffused light color temperature; using two semiconductor switching devices working in conjunction with a controller to respectively control a first electric power delivered to the first LED load and a second electric power delivered to the second LED load such that a total electric power of the light-emitting unit remains unchanged; and using at least one external control device to activate a selection of the diffused light color temperature.

Abstract: A linkable LED lighting system designed with an on line free setting method for adjusting operating parameters of at least one LED security light is disclosed. The linkable LED lighting system comprises at least one LED security light working in conjunction with a mobile phone loaded with an APP (software application) for controlling and setting at least one lighting characteristic of the at least one LED security light including time length settings, light intensity settings, color temperature settings, detection range settings, or signal frequency range or signal format settings for screening, accepting, and processing said wireless instruction signal(s) characterized with the same signal frequency range or the same signal format.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for the detection and identification of a cellular device that crosses a perimeter associated with a premises that is installed with a monitoring system. Subsequently, a determination of an intruder crossing the perimeter and/or entering a building within the premises may be made based on receiving unique identification values for the cellular device and/or information associated with a user of the cellular device. One or more sensors present within or near the premises may be configured to send alert information when tripped. The monitoring system may be configured to determine a location of the cellular device, an identity of the user of the cellular device, additional information stored, transmitted or received by the cellular device, and safe escape routes that may be sent to one or more user devices registered with the monitoring system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on storage devices, for drone-augmented emergency response services. In one aspect, a monitoring system, comprising: a plurality of monitoring control units, and a monitoring application server, wherein the monitoring application server includes a network interface, one or more processors, and one or more storage devices that include instructions to perform operations. The operations include receiving an emergency event notification from a first monitoring control unit of the plurality of monitoring control units, determining a type of emergency event, and a location associated with the emergency event notification, identifying one or more drones that can be deployed to the location associated with the emergency event, and transmitting an instruction to a monitoring station server associated with a drone base station to deploy the one or more identified drones to the location associated with the emergency event.
