A lead frame having a structure that can discharge hydrogen adsorbed during deposition and can reduce a galvanic potential difference between plating layers and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The method includes forming a Ni plating layer formed of Ni or a Ni alloy on a base metal layer formed of a metal, forming a Pd plating layer formed of Pd or an Pd alloy on the Ni plating layer, heat-treating the Ni plating layer and the Pd plating layer, and forming a protective plating layer on the heat-treated Pd plating layer.

Methods of fabricating a floating gate of a flash memory cell are provided in which a first polysilicon layer is formed between first and second isolation layers. An upper region of the first polysilicon layer is then oxidized. The oxidized upper region of the first polysilicon layer is subsequently removed. A second polysilicon layer is formed on the first polysilicon layer. The second polysilicon layer and the first polysilicon layer are patterned to form the floating gate.

A retracting method of compensating for a time for parking and unloading with an additional floating force obtained by additionally operating a spindle motor for a predetermined period after a retract operation is started, a hard disk drive (HDD) adopting the method, and a computer readable recording medium having a program for performing the method. The retracting method of the hard disk drive to retract a head to a retract area in response to detection of a retract condition includes driving the spindle motor at least for a predetermined period at the beginning of a retract operation to rotate a disk. The spindle motor is additionally driven for the predetermined period after the retract operation is started such that an additional floating force can be obtained, and thus, a time for parking and unloading is compensated for, and a stable retract operation is performed.

An RF MEMS switch having asymmetrical spring rigidity. The RF MEMS switch has supporting members spaced apart in a certain interval on a substrate, a membrane being a motion member suspended by plural spring members extended on both sides of the membrane, and a bottom electrode being a contact surface on an upper surface of the substrate facing a bottom surface of the membrane, wherein the plural spring members placed on opposite sides of the membrane have asymmetrical rigidity, and a portion of the membrane on a side of stronger spring rigidity is first separated from the contact surface when the RF MEMS switch is turned off. The present invention has an advantage of easy separation of the switch from the contact surface, when the switch is turned off, due to the different rigidity of the springs located on the sides of the membrane.

The contact member can come into contact with or separate from the signal line. A method for manufacturing the MEMS switch includes preparing the upper and lower substrates and combining them so that a surface having the signal line faces a surface having the contact member and the upper and lower substrates are disposed apart by a distance.

A lead frame for a semiconductor package and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. In the lead frame, a Ni plating layer made of Ni or a Ni alloy is plated on a base metallic layer. A Ni—Pd plating layer made of a Ni—Pd based alloy and having a Ni atomic concentration in a range of about 60% to about 95% is plated on the Ni plating layer, and a protective plating layer is plated on the Ni—Pd plating layer.
