    摘要: Systems, devices and methods for a user equipment (UE) to perform public land mobile network (PLMN) selection with a non-terrestrial network (NTN). A UE performs a non-access stratum (NAS) procedure with a public land mobile network (PLMN) of an NTN. The UE receives a NAS message from the PLMN, and the NAS message indicates that the UE is not allowed to access a core network of the NTN. The NAS message may indicate that the UE is not allowed to access the core network of the NTN because a location of the UE is unknown to the NTN, that access to the NTN is not allowed in a country in which the UE is located, or that a location of the UE is not within a country associated with the NTN. The UE modifies its PLMN search procedure responsive to receiving the NAS message.

    摘要: A Public Land Mobile Network includes a network slice quota (NSQ) node to implement a quota on the number of user equipments (UEs) or (UE, PDU_Session) pairs that may be registered on a network slice. An access and mobility management function (AMF) queries the NSQ on whether quota is available for registration of a UE on a network slice in response to a notification of successful authorization and/or authentication (AAA) of the UE. Alternatively, the AMF may preemptively capture one or more units of network slice quota for the UE prior to initiation of the AAA procedure. The AMF may start a timer after UE deregistration is initiated, and not relinquish the quota unit held by the UE until after the timer's expiration. The network may also include a session management function (SMF) that provides UE identification as well as PDU Session ID when requesting registration of a UE.

For SA dual connectivity, the UE avoids 5G remaining band (RBS) scans and limits 5G deviated band search (DBS) scans to bands configured for the carrier.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to techniques for performing conditional handover candidate cell selection in a wireless communication system. A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a wireless link. The wireless device may receive conditional handover configuration information. The conditional handover configuration information may indicate one or more conditions for performing handover and cell candidates for the conditional handover. The wireless device may determine that multiple cell candidates meet the conditions for performing handover. A cell candidate to which to perform handover may be selected based at least in part on one or more wireless device conditions. The wireless device may perform handover to the selected cell candidate.
