    摘要: A resource recovery utility is provided comprising a landfill having a continuous wall surrounding the perimeter thereof and a containment structure extending completely over the landfill affixed to the continuous wall. Refuse can be introduced into the landfill and compacted therein and at least a portion of the compacted refuse can be removed therefrom. Methane generated by anaerobic bacterial digestion of organic materials contained in the refuse can be removed and recovered.

    摘要: A method for locating points of leakage of air from a normally air-filled portion of the piping of a fire sprinkling system by filling the normally air-filled portion of the system with an aqueous solution of an efficient wetting agent, together with a water soluble dye, and applying pressure for a sufficient time to force dye through any leaking portions of the normally dry portion of the sprinkler system, and locating the leaks by visually observing leakage of the dye and wetting agent.

    摘要: This invention is a group of prostaglandin-like compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein m is 0, 1, 2, or 3 and n is 2, 3, 4, or 5, wherein X and Y are --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 -- or X is cis-CH.dbd.CH-- and Y is --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 -- or cis--CH.dbd.CH--, and wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 12 carbon atoms, inclusive, cycloalkyl of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, inclusive, aralkyl of 7 to 12 carbon atoms, inclusive, phenyl, or phenyl substituted with 1, 2, or 3 chloro or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, inclusive, and the pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof when R.sub.1 is hydrogen. These compounds are useful as vasodepressors and antisecretory agents, and in managing cases of renal disfunction.

    摘要: An ID document includes a document core and a multi-layer laminate. The multi-layer laminate includes at least three layers: a top layer, a middle layer, and a bottom layer. The top layer, in combination with other layers, provides durability to the ID document. The top layer can be made of a material with strong intrusion or scratch resistance and a high thermal softening/deformation point and can also have high resistance to solvents. The middle layer may be made of a material with a low melting point, and may also have high resistance to solvents. The bottom layer helps to facilitate strong binding to the document core or inlay and may be made of a material with a relatively high melting point.
