    摘要： The present invention provides a motor drive apparatus capable of calculating an angular velocity and a rotation angle accurately in the entire rotation velocity range of a motor using a cheap Hall sensor having an inferior accuracy without using an expensive resolver having a high accuracy. The present invention includes a first angular velocity calculating means for calculating the angular velocity based on the back-EMF of the motor when it rotates at low speeds and a second angular velocity calculating means for calculating the angular velocity based on a signal from the Hall sensor when it rotates at high speeds. According to the present invention, the angular velocity and rotation angle can be calculated accurately in the entire rotation speed range using the Hall sensor under hybrid usage.

The adapter further includes: communication means capable of performing direct communication with the mobile telephone by being carried with the mobile telephone; and operation information generating means for generating operation information in accordance with portable communication terminal information acquired from the mobile telephone. Under the circumstances where a user carries the mobile telephone, it is possible to provide a wireless operating system in which various operated targets and the mobile telephone are wirelessly operated.

    摘要： An ink jet head has a plurality of ink pressure chambers defined therein and a surface to which a plurality of ink pressure chambers open. An orifice plate having an orifice therein is bonded to the surface. When manufacturing the ink jet head, a coating of an insulating material is first formed on an inner wall of the ink pressure chambers and subsequently a re-dissolvable curingresin is applied to the ink jet head in an area from the inner walls to the surface. Then, the coating and the resin deposited on the surface are removed from the surface. Then, the resin deposited on the coating in the ink pressure chambers is dissolved to remove the resin from the inner wall. Finally, the orifice plate is bonded to the surface.

    摘要： To provide a controller of an electric power-steering system, capable of improving the steering performance by presuming a motor angular speed .omega. in a range in which the angular speed of a motor is small and moreover very accurately presuming the motor angular speed and thereby, completely showing the functions for compensating the inertia of the motor and controlling the astringency of a vehicle. Because the presumed error of a back electromotive force between a model motor and a motor to be actually mounted is proportional to a motor current, a dead zone of a motor angular speed having a width proportional to a motor current is set to the presumed value of the motor angular speed. When the motor current is small, the width of the dead zone also decreases. Therefore, it is possible to presume an angular speed .omega. even in a region where the motor angular speed is small. Moreover, a motor angular speed is presumed by defining impedance models of motor driving systems in an intermittent mode and a continuous mode.

    摘要： An inner chamber is arranged inside an outer chamber and stores quartz crystal powder. A space is defined between the inner chamber and the outer chamber, and an oxygen gas is introduced into that space. The quartz crystal powder is supplied from the inner chamber into a burner section, together with the oxygen gas. The burner section is also supplied with a flammable gas from a gas control device. The flammable gas contains an NH.sub.3 gas. The heat produced by the combustion of the flammable and oxygen gases fuses the quartz crystal powder supplied from the inner chamber into the burner section. As a result, quartz containing nitrogen is produced. The nitrogen is contained in the fused quartz in an amount which is expressed as 1 to 10% by molar ratio.
