Abstract:
A method, system, and apparatus of network artifact identification and extraction are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes aggregating a payload data (e.g., may be a component of the extracted artifact) from different network packets to form an aggregated payload data, matching the payload data with an entry of a library of known artifacts, determining a type of the payload data based on a match with the entry of the library of known artifacts, separating the payload data from a header data in a network packet, and communicating the aggregated payload data as an extracted artifact to a user. The method may include using the extracted artifact to perform network visibility analysis of users on packets flowing across the network. The method may validate that the entry is accurate by performing a deeper analysis of the payload data with the entry of the library of known artifacts.
Abstract:
Methods and a system of capture and regeneration of a network data using a virtual software switch are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method includes capturing a network data using a virtual software switch, a processor, and a memory. The network data is captured to perform a network visibility analysis and the network data is communicated to at least one port of the virtual software switch. The method includes forming a stored network data in a memory. The method also includes regenerating the stored network data to form a reconstructed data.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hand-held dispensing applicator comprising a source of fluid, a frangible applicator tip attached to the fluid source, and an absorbent member attached to the frangible applicator tip. When the frangible applicator tip is broken, fluid flows from the source to the absorbent member, whereby the fluid is applied and spread on a surface. Preferably, the frangible applicator tip comprises a support element permanently connected to the fluid source, a relatively rigid tongue element extending outwardly of the support element, and a frangible region there between. Preferably, the tongue element comprises ribs for reinforcing the tongue element to resist unintentional breaking of the frangible region. More preferably, the applicator tip comprises a semi-permeable or non-permeable cover disposed around the frangible region to control the speed and direction of the dispersion of the fluid in the absorbent member. Adaptive embodiments allow the generation of designs applicable to a particular medical purpose.

A hand-held laser welding wand includes a main body that is dimensioned to be grasped by a hand and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a laser extension tip and a feeder material extension tip in a configuration that provides the hand-held laser welding wand with the capability of conducting laser welding operations in relatively deep crevices or other hard to reach places.
Abstract:
Apparatus for minimizing power losses associated with dead time between ON times of two series connected switches of a power converter connected across a supply potential, the apparatus comprising a control arrangement for monitoring a selected parameter associated with power loss during the dead time of the converter; the control arrangement changing the dead time from a first dead time to a second dead time and comparing the selected parameter associated with power loss for the first and second dead times and determining which of the power losses associated with the two dead times is smaller; a dead time implementing stage for implementing the two dead times; and the control arrangement selecting the dead time associated with the smaller power loss and providing a signal to the dead time implementing stage to set the selected dead time, wherein the control arrangement comprises a module sampling a signal related to the selected parameter associated with power loss at selected instants in time corresponding to the first and second dead times; and a processor for controlling timing of the sampling; and further comprising a comparator module for comparing power loss associated with the first and second dead times and for providing a signal indicating which dead time is associated with a smaller power loss and providing said signal to said processor to implement the dead time associated with the smaller power loss; further comprising an error compensating circuit coupled to said sampling module and to said comparator to reduce offset errors, introduced by either or both said sampling module and said comparator module. Also described is an apparatus to prevent trapping at sub-optimal dead times and for compensating for coherent load transients.
Abstract:
A phase-locked loop (PLL) architecture (100) is provided that includes a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) (116). The PLL architecture (100) also includes a digital calibration loop (132) coupled to the VCO (116). The digital calibration loop (132) implements a digital filter (126) to provide a digital control to the VCO (116) for centering a VCO frequency output. The PLL architecture (100) also includes an analog calibration loop (130) coupled to the VCO (116). The analog calibration loop (130) provides an analog control to the VCO (116) for adjusting the centered VCO frequency output.
Abstract:
A mallet-style golf ball putter with a hollow pipe component that has generally the same diameter as a golf ball, is positioned about the sweet spot in the vertical and lateral dimensions on the putter striking face, and extends longitudinally towards the rear of the putter to assist the golfer to align the striking face of the putter with the golf ball when in an address position and with the intended line of putt during takeback and follow-through. Peripheral weighting further enhances the moment of inertia of the golf putter head. The pipe component so designed permits a visual alignment of the striking face with the golf ball in the lateral and vertical dimensions and for a smooth perpendicular stroke along an axis of the pipe.
