The motor-driven compressor includes a compressor mechanism, which compresses a refrigerant, and a motor mechanism, which actuates the compressor mechanism. The motor-driven compressor further includes an inner housing, which accommodates the compressor mechanism and the motor mechanism in a sealed state, and an outer housing, which accommodates the inner housing. The outer housing includes a mounting portion that can be mounted to another member. A first intermediate member is arranged between the inner housing and the outer housing. The first intermediate member includes anti-vibration and thermal insulation properties.

    摘要: A motor-driven scroll type compressor has a motor that includes a rotary shaft and rotates the rotary shaft, a bearing for rotatably supporting front end of the rotary shaft, a fixed scroll member, a movable scroll member driven by rear end of the rotary shaft, compression chambers defined by the movable scroll member and the fixed scroll member and a housing. The rotation of the rotary shaft makes an orbital motion of the movable scroll member around the axis of the rotary shaft and accordingly the compression chambers are moved radially and inwardly thereby to compress the refrigerant gas. The compressor further has a suction chamber communicating with the compression chambers, a discharge chamber, an oil separation chamber separating lubricating oil from the refrigerant gas and communicating with the discharge chamber and a back pressure chamber provided in front of the movable scroll member in the housing and facing to the rear end of the rotary shaft. The back pressure chamber communicates with the oil separation chamber. The rotary shaft includes a first opening at a position adjacent to the front end of the rotary shaft and facing an inner surface of the bearing, a second opening at a position adjacent to the rear end of the rotary shaft and communicating with the back pressure chamber, a communication passage interconnecting the first opening and the second opening and a throttle formed by a clearance between the first opening and the inner surface of the bearing.

    摘要: A piston type compressor has a housing, a crank chamber and a drive shaft supported by the housing. A front restriction and a rear restriction are located in the housing. The front and rear restrictions restrict axial movement of the drive shaft. The front restriction restricts forward movement of the drive shaft. The rear restriction restricts rearward axial movement of the drive shaft. A first clearance is located between the rear end of the drive shaft and the rear restriction when the drive shaft is restricted by the front restriction. A second clearance is formed between the piston and a valve plate when the drive shaft is restricted by the front restriction and when the piston is in the top dead center position. The first clearance is narrower than the second clearance. The method of assembly the piston easily sets the first clearance.

    摘要: A displacement control device comprises a control valve. The control valve controls the pressure in a crank chamber. The control valve includes a valve body, and an electromagnetic actuator. A power source supplies the current to the actuator. A switch device located between the actuator and the power source. A controller determines a target value of the current supplied to the actuator in accordance with an external condition. When the target value is changed to a new value, the controller controls the switching of the switch device such that the current is intermittently supplied from the power source to the actuator before the current is set to the new target value. This permits the displacement of the compressor to be smoothly and rapidly changed.

A first spring urges the valve body towards the first regulator. A sensing member divides a sensing chamber into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. The sensing member moves in accordance with the pressure difference. A regulator surface regulates the movement of the sensing member. A temporary chamber is formed between the sensing member and the valve body when the valve body is disconnected from the sensing member. The temporary chamber is connected to the second pressure chamber. A second spring urges the sensing member toward the regulator surface. An actuator applies a force to the valve body that is opposite to the force of the first spring and that of the second spring in accordance with commands from an external controller.
